@ if I’m right with a cheap cable you have everything essentially with one cable because one is only a splitter. Thank you anyway

@ you’re not counting the splitter as a cable? My issue was if I had don’t a splitter to get power deliver that would have made for 3 cables. In the end whatever works for you is best

Like inside a movie theater? I’m not sure about PSVR2 I don’t have one. Is virtual desktop available on pS5? If so the environments should work.

@ Unfortunately, it doesn't support a virtual desktop, which is why I'm looking for another VR brand that offers immersive experience that I can be inside a movie theater. PS5 VR2 has amazing VR games but not movies!

@ Yeah that makes sense. It’s really why I landed on the quest. Hook it up to a PC and it’s amazing. It doesn’t have the haptic feedback and triggers like PSVR2 ( which are amazing by the way ) but I have the best of both worlds in most cases.

@@pedroherrero2513 being able to select 4k depends on your device. You aren’t seeing 8k available for it in your quest?

@robtone279 go to the app > click the 3 line menu at the bottom right… tap supervision > tap your child’s name > tap manage time limits

@robtone279 why do you need to do it outside of the app?

@@mikestoffers1707 great question. I haven’t seen any confirmation yet. There will always have to be some sort of connection granted between the quest and the windows machine. Even now once it’s connected it stays that way. I imagine it will just remain a running process once you’ve linked it to a quest

Interesting wouldn’t imagine something like that would be region locked. So when you click the gear like I did in the video there was no option to add more? Be sure you’re not using the Remote Desktop app and you’ve set up the Windows Mixed Reality link on your PC. It sounds like you’re experiencing the Remote Desktop app experience

Yeah, you may want to consider a prescription insert or even an open factual interface. Could help with the eye pain. I found that I don’t blink enough while in VR. Keeping my eyes lubricated helped a lot. I do enjoy Skybox’s Quality and straight forward support as well

No, I didn't say it eloquently but that's what I was mentioning at the beginning, if your machine is locked this has no chance of connecting. While virtual desktop on the other hand can connect and let you unlock the machine as long as its on. I think the set up for this windows preview is that you have a laptop in front of you, rather than a desktop in a different room.

No 3D SBS and only online content.

@@coal452 you can but your mouse and keyboard has to be within range of the PC This is what I’m mentioning in the video. In virtual desktop you can be anywhere the WiFi can reach.

I wish that the new Windows integration that came out was available for the Mac also. I know it’s on the Vision Pro, but it’s just waaaay too expensive.

@@blackryn0 bobo just released a elite style strap like this one. I haven’t tried it yet. But yes this is a smaller form factor than the larger halo style bobo straps. But the batteries are larger than bobo VR’s halo strap.

It is a night and day difference!

Never used the Q2 but Q3 has perfect clarity but if you have eye sensitivity you will get eye fatigue.

@@acb9318 are you talking about virtual desktop? It does SOOOO much more than just a browser. Mirroring your desktop at high bitrates, (both Mac and PC) enables PCVR for both Rift and Steam titles, gives the user the ability to control technical setting of their streaming experience to match their set up. Etc Stream input from the mouse and keyboard connected to your quest to the PC/mac anywhere in your home… the list goes on. It’s properly priced at $20 in my opinion. But I agree if those aren’t your needs… just for streaming services use the Horizon OS browser

@Penrosian yes that could be a tweak that would appeal to more for sure! I haven’t played Terraria but I think people do want that BOOM for every slash. Skydance seems to have gone a different way on purpose. For example the axe I’m using in this video will break wooden shields and even knock helmets off of an enemies head. Swords don’t do it as fast. And a correctly timed parry can take out a fully armed minion in one blow… the catch is, you have to wait for the moment to parry and then strike perfectly at a soft spot ( e.g. between their shoulder and head) To the casual player who just hacks away, this enemy seems invincible, and they use all their stamina and blame the game. Don’t get me wrong it’s a lot to manage all these mechanics during a fight but I think that’s what people aren’t enjoying. The challenge of that. (There is an option to turn off stamina but it disables all achievements )

@@bringhurstvr it does! Also it lets you save those “workspaces” to recall them. It gets a little wonky but it’s the best we got. It looks like this windows preview does at least when I was filming this you can see my windows were in some odd places from me playing with it before I filmed. No bookmarks like fluid though.

@@TheConstruct_VR yeah, in Spatial it would save the pinned locations, but the room would be offset every time. I'll have to finally check this out.
