How to watch TV in the 2021 Tesla Model 3 (UK)

Watching Netflix or KZbin on the inbuilt Tesla apps is great, but how can you watch other streaming sites, such as BBC iPlayer, or ITVHub? Here I show you how to using a Wifi connection.
Just for reference, Netflix, KZbin and Disney+ will work using the cars SIM card on Premium Connectivity, yet the BBC & ITV websites need to see a UK internet connection to work.

Fantastic - thanks, will have to try this sometime. Just picked up my M3 LR last week from Leeds and loving it, only problem is I’ve gotta bust camera so autopilot won’t work. It seems to be a common problem. Given COVID situation I’m not in a hurry to get it fixed but hopefully at end Jan....

Congratulations David 🙂 Ask them to send a ranger out to swap it. I'd ring them rather using the app. Leeds are helpful. We've a ranger visit booked for January. Recently took ours into Leeds to fix wind noise to the passenger front window. They've made it a lot worse, so much so it now sounds like the door is permanently open. We've now got a 2023 Model 3. Go to the browser and Google Tesla TV. Click fullscreen, and choose whichever streaming service you want 🙂👍

may be make a list of sites and just put live for tesla owners to use. break down into kids channels, news, shopping (eg amazon, ebay) make short videos in specific area for user to access quick and easy as the thing comes is that you pay for netflix.

Nice video. How long did it take from ordering your car before it was ready for collection? The website currently says a month but no sure how true that is?

Cheers Mike 👍 When we ordered it, the website was saying 3 months. So we were all set & prepared for a February delivery 🙂 Then a couple of days after ordering it changed to three weeks 😯😅 Was a big shock, but we got the car on the day they said.

No it just works with a mobile phone Wifi connection. But you do need a separate Netflix account to log in 🙂👍

No, the rapidgate killed it for us. Sold it November 2019, & bought a diesel BMW. Then last November traded that in for the Tesla. Rapidgate just made the 40kWh eNV200 useless for the trips we used to like doing.

@@brianyates3479 We've had some issues, but they did get fixed in the end. Kind of spoiled the first impressions. Ours is the cheaper end of the Tesla market, being just £43,000! Anyway it has a range of around 200 to 250 miles, but compared to the Nissan, long journeys will be a doddle in comparison. We're growing to like it more and more as we finally escape restrictions :o)

How did you sign in to your own KZbin account as there is a glitch that won't allow you to as the sim as you said is registered to the Netherlands?

I went into the standard browser window, and logged into Plex.tv using my Google account credentials. Once logged in there, I went to the KZbin app, and it logged me in there too. Was five weeks ago that I did that... was driving me crazy that I couldn't log in... someone on Twitter gave me the workaround. In all honesty I'd forgotten about that issue 🙂🙂
