Back in the day I use to use Indian Head Gasket Shellac and it SEALED !! I only put on the pump side tho, not the block side .. Great Video no monkeying around you got it done and explained start to finish.

Thanks for the help man! AC Delco part failed on me at 287000. Bell housing scored the pump pretty bad and was just-a-SHAKIN! Got a better quality pump and am about to throw it on! God Bless for the tutorial!

Looked like someone cut the bottom of the fan shroud to clear the fan.......I wonder if that works. Great video!

You should also replace the pipe that connects the heater hose to the water pump. They get clogged and keep your heater from working.

I just replaced a water pump on a 2010 ford escape, it was easy and lots cheaper then having it done by a repair shop.

94-95 had the tensioner as you show 96 has a bolt you access between the power steering pump and the head And 02 has spring tensioner Jeep is all over the place with this function.
