Watching your videos over the past few days I have decided to do a practice session every morning. I figure it might loosen up my hand and my mind. If it doesn't turn out so what. It's just paint and paper. They will go in my scrap bin for making flower collages. I'm over the moon that I found you.

I love this way of filming a video. Why? you might ask. Well , let me tell you why. You have everything right there so we can see everything you do. We can see the whole palette, we can see each color as you use it, as you mix it, as you dilute it, everything. So this, then, becomes a better tutorial them most tutorials I've watched and these aren't even meant to be used that way, not entirely. So a great big Thank You for sharing this and all the rest of the work you so generously share with us. 🤗

You have DONE it AGAIN! Made my heart plumb full of happy. I even giggled when you did the grass-like zigzag doodle - something new. I can sense a growing confidence and willingness to push your boundaries with different plants and colors. This was the first time I have seen the Prima tropicals. I love bright bold colors. I thought you struck a beautiful balance between small buds and open larger blooms - bold vs small and delicate. I just started an instagram account by being brave enough to click on your link. I still don't understand how to use it but I am preparing to show how you have inspired me. Thank you for being you.

Hi there! Thanks for all your videos! I'm using your technique in urban sketching. I hope you don't mind. :) Because I am more comfortable in watercolors, I use it first before I sketch/doodle with ink/pen. I love the outcome and it's so fun to do!

I love doodling... and water colour But trying out first time to bring it together. But i put too many colours and the abstract became difficult to doodle. Your ideas are great. But as i practice. I realize i have to find my own flow and colour choice.

thank you Elizabeth. i actually proceed both ways. sometimes it is intuitive and others it's more planned. lately i've been doing more of the latter.

Hi I haven't found out how to send you a photo of my colour shapers, but I recently bought some 'Encaustic art' tools that are similar to my colour shaper, tools, these are a different degree of stiffness to the water colour ones, and also different from the ones for other media, such as modling clay tools, as I said before, the first ones (appart from the free one) were from about 1990_ish.

CeeCee, I have a Question, on paintings like are you working from a reference photo or just imagination?
@creationsceecee6 жыл бұрын
on this one, i used a reference photo for the vase... and ended up not doing like the photo. LOL i usually work intuitively but i have to get into the habit of using reference material as i am at the point where i need to grow more. especially if i want to venture into something else other than flowers.
