Do yourself and especially your health a favor and DO NOT apply waxes (or any other car care product) directly with your hands. At least wear gloves if you must do it by hand. There are a tons of chemicals in those products that can either harm you or your body cannot degrade.

I know that you guys make the absolute best waxes out there but... Waxing a car with your bare hands is absolutely te worst you can do. First your hand is an abrasive. And a car paint is a delicate thing. You have just taken all the precautions possible not to scratch it and now you are going to possibly scratch it... No go. Second... Your hands most of the time contain body fats. And this can cause wax not to fully bond to the surface. Waxing barehanded is some kind of a hype that make people think it is more luxurious.

Thank you for your comment and compliment, which we greatly appreciate. A pad can be abrasive as well as a hand. Of course it is important to remove the jewellery and to have clean hands. It's also important that you have no open wounds or injuries on your hands. Scratching the paint can never be 100% prevent, no matter how careful you are. We have been doing this by hand since the eighties and it is not a hype behind or to make it look more luxurious. There is a simple reason, namely that the heat of the hand makes the wax reach the perfect melting point. This makes it easier to apply and you use less wax.
