I personally love Rag Company's Dry Me A River towels. There is a large oak tree in the neighbors yard, so leaves, pieces of leaves and other debris is always falling. the longer nap towels always attract those things while I'm drying. So, I stick with the waffle weave. I can see the debris easier and remove it much easier.

Hack, wet your towel and let it spin dry or dry on low heat for a few minutes. Or sprit with DI water or ONR. A damp towel will work better absorbing water. Also lesson the risk of scratching the paint. Pan.. Off topic but curious if you ever put 007 up against Beadmaker?

Great video Pan. I absolutely agree with your assessment here on the Microfiber Drying Towels. I just got the Gauntlet a couple months ago and I love those towels. I also got a couple of the smaller version of the Gauntlet which works great as interior cleaning towels. Either sopping up any leftover cleaners used on the inside or just as a general purpose towel for the interior. Works great for that use. Also, after personally using almost every Microfiber specific detergent on the market over the past several years, I have found that actually a soap marketed as a Laundry Detergent works the best at cleaning them. A detergent called "CHARLIES SOAP" laundry detergent which is available in various size containers works really well at cleaning microfiber cloths. No dyes, perfumes, etc. Just pure soap and it does work great. It actually has the same consistency as many of the Microfiber detergents which is a very thin consistency close to water. And you only need a small amount just like Microfiber detergents.

Did you reach out to The Rag Company to ask them? They have great customer service and know their products way better than anyone else, I'm sure they have had that question many times. They will surely ask you: do you have any paint protection currently? Are your drying towels possibly loaded with spray on sealants that you use as drying aids? That reduces the towel's ability to pick up water over time. You would need a good microfiber detergent like the new P&S Rag to Riches that I have been testing. That removes old sealants that have coated the fibers and prevent the towel from doing its job. Here's a link: amzn.to/2XXd5i8

@@PanTheOrganizer I will cover all those bases. No sealants other than the wash and wax soap when washing cars. I had a detail Monday and did both dry and then I damped the towel but I saw a few streaks when drying.

Do you wash your towels properly? Do you use a quality detergent? Did you see my most recent microfiber towel cleaning tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpDVqpl9odB4b6s That's what I can do for you at this point.
@luxenterprise72583 жыл бұрын
@@PanTheOrganizer I ensure to wash my towels together by themselves with no other items. I use non-scented detergent and dry on low to keep them the way they should. I will check out the other videos you sent as well.

I believe the Gyeon silk dryer is an 80/20 blend not a 70/30.
@PanTheOrganizer4 жыл бұрын
It's very hard to find precise information about Gyeon microfiber towels. There certainly isn't much on their website. That's what I like about The Rag Company. They put all the specs for each towel, easily accessible on their website.

What is unfortunate is that every time there is a good review on a product, either the price double, or it becomes unavailable.

Wow. The rag company copycat MIcroFiber Madness Chipmunk Towel.
@victor40914 жыл бұрын
yeah lol, but even with the new chipmunk in the market, the Dry Me Crazy is the absolutely best of the best in the market as safest drying towel
@sogbali3 жыл бұрын
Nice copy (Gauntlet), but Microfiber Madness Chipmunk was the original and the very first hybrid drying towel with 1000gsm, not 900. BTW both towel come from same factory from South Korea. + Microfiber Madness has edgeless version of Chipmunk.

Hey Pan! Do you think it’s about time that you do a Meguiar’s Detailer product line review? Your last one is 3 years old and they’ve since added some products or refreshed them and I’m curious of your opinion

It's a good idea. I have so many projects at the moment it's nuts. But hopefully I will get to those one day.

Pan TheOrganizer Better to have a ton vs none haha. I use their iron remover and love it. It’s the only one I see at Auto Parts stores near me and I always wow my clients when their whole (neglected) car turns purple

If the towels are not the same size, wouldn’t using price per sq.inch make more sense for comparison reasons?

I use the dehydrate as my go to for my detailing business, works awesome, didn't know about the damp towel being more effective, I feel like dehydrate dosent follow that rule cause I never get streaks left behind. But maybe that's just me 🤷🏻♂️

Hi Pan.. do you ever use a Water Blade.. that silicone squeegee for cars... to remove big area of water acclimation before using a microfiber?
@PanTheOrganizer4 жыл бұрын
I would never use a water blade on a car! I first use a car dryer, like my cordless EGO CFM 580 which I reviewed here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3m3YqevaKh4epo
