Broooooo, this video just saved my job. Talk about a sink or swim situation, ok: I had to completely waxed a bronx building. A very busy building with a lot of foot traffic apparently. Coming from a person who never stripped and waxed the floor before oh yeah, I'm completely proud of the results. Thanks

Didn't say how often floor should be waxed. Do you strip off old wax before applying new coat of wax?
@spiritualdispensary82146 ай бұрын
I added the polymer finish and didn’t like it, If I want to add a top coat instead, do I need to strip it first or can I just sand and add my top coat?

Thanks for this great video. I just polished my floor down with 30 and then 50 grit. It is a coarse floor with a concrete mix full of aggregate and lots of character. I'm going to acid stain it next. I want to put wax down like this. Should I seal it first? I want the concrete to look wet...

We always seal the concrete before we apply wax. You can see our process here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4XQm2xvaLqHpc0

Hey Tim, I noticed you didnt use a buffer before waxing, and you mentioned that the wax would fill in the scratches, is it possible for scratches to be deep enough that you would need to buff? or does that mean the scratch is in the actual concrete itself and theres nothing you can do?

Which Wax is used in the floor cleaning? is it PE Wax, Oxidized PE Wax, Paraffin Wax or any other?

The polymer floor you recommend is no longer available. Could you recommend another product? I search polymer floor finish and I get acrylic floor finsihes and I was wondering if ''acrylic'' is the same as ''Polymer'', thanks

Hello there do you have any experience with epoxi floors. Can you used the same wax you use on vct or concret. Is the epoxi floors oil or water base? I will look forward to hear from you. Thanks. Antonio.

You should be able to use it… but I would test it on a small spot before you do the entire floor.

We have stained concrete floors thought the house. They were covered with Arizona Polymer Flooring (APF 250). There are many scratches that came from chairs sliding across the floor (hairline) and even some large ones from boxes being slid across the floor (2” wide or larger). Will the floor wax cover those or is there something I can do to remove those before applying the wax? I’ve tried several things to remove the scratches but nothing seems to work. Also we feel like the floors get marked up way too easily. And they don’t clean easily (dry mop does not work). We thought they would be way more durable than they are. Maybe the product was installed incorrectly or the wrong product was used? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would clean it with distilled water & a neutral cleaner. Hard water can leave minerals behind which makes it always look dirty. It’s hard to say without seeing it, but I believe waxing it would fix 99% of your issues. I would suggest just buying a gallon and testing a spot somewhere before you do the entire floor.

I watched your video. Thanks for sharing. I am trying to start this busines from Nigeria. I bought some porcelain tiles with the plan to strip, wax and burnish according to the video I watched. But, after applying stripper, the surface sheen on the tiles did not remove. I went ahead to apply floor finish polish, but after 4 days I tried washing and the polish all peeled off. Again, I bought paste wax and sealer. I have applied the sealer, but on the attempt to coat floor finish polish on it, the sealer also peeled off. Right now, I have applied sealer and the paste wax. Although I have not burnished it, it shows no sign of sheen, but it's dull and whitish. Please, how can I strip the new porcelain tiles and how do I go about the application of sealer and polish or wax? I have an old, scratched and dirty porcelain floor to fix next week, the floor has not been waxed before. And I want to restore it. Thank you in anticipation for your response
