Hey 👋 first of all fellow cyster here! I am 35 and was told at the age of 18 I had pcos with moderate hirsutism so I started shaving like.. every day! Bad bad bad decision! So last year my facial hair was really starting to get me down (I was still shaving at this point) and I decided to start going at my fave with tweezers. My god it sucks so much! It can take anywhere from an hour to 2 and half hours to clear my and even then I don't manage to grab ever hair. I got to the same point tonight and ordered myself an at home waxing kit, found your video and now I can't WAIT for my kit to arrive. You made that whole process look as easy as taking off your makeup! Thank you so much for all of the tips and tricks. I actually have an aloe Vera plant ive been growing for a year so I'm going to make a mix of aloe, coconut and maybe some essential oils. Wish me luck! X

@NaturallyEllae
@NaturallyEllae 3 жыл бұрын
You’re most welcome! Yea eyebrows can be tricky sometimes but you learn your brows over time 😁 So I usually start it at the highest to melt it down for like 10-12 mins then gradually decrease the temp and then keep it in the middle. You want that honey texture or even just tad more runny for brows. But you wanna have control so it’s not messy. Hope this helps!

@NaturallyEllae
@NaturallyEllae Жыл бұрын
Hi! I have heard some tend to breakout or have irritation. Before I say anything about stopping, I would try exfoliation because will help with any hairs trapped underneath the skin. Also, making sure you wax isn’t too hot, not to rip off too fast and use aloe to help calm your skin. I get bumps at times myself but they go away or I’ll notice I was too rough. If you still have bad reactions I would see a Dermatologist just to be safe. Hope that helps🙏🏽

Does waxing get rid of peach fuzz though ? I heard it doesn’t
@NaturallyEllae
@NaturallyEllae 3 жыл бұрын
When it comes to peach fuzz since it’s such a fine texture, it may or may not. Usually the hair should at least be a rice grain length long to really pull from the root. But if you exfoliate the skin well 3x a week prior to waxing, you should get a reasonable amount removed.

I thought that I had PCOS because of the excess facial hair, but I don't know if I do. The hair is annoying and I feel like my chin is very bad. Do you ever get breakouts after waxing that area or tweezing that area? I do all the time and it's annoying as well too!
@NaturallyEllae
@NaturallyEllae 3 жыл бұрын
Hi! It’s so interesting you mention that. I was just diagnosed with adenomyosis last summer and made sense however I feel I had mix of that with PCOS. Not til recently when changed the way I ate and lost a lot of weight have I seen a bit of difference in the hair growth. But all in all to say, I don’t experience breakouts. That could happen if the area isn’t prepped well or if you haven’t exfoliated. Do you get it waxed professionally or you do it on your own?
@EGORElicious
@EGORElicious 3 жыл бұрын
@@NaturallyEllae what adenomyosis? What types of foods do you find that has helped lessen it a bit? I'm on a weightloss journey. I dont wax, I just tweeze every hair until it feels smooth lol. I tried waxing those areas, but im not sure if it was the wax or if I was too rough, but I think I ripped too hard because it felt raw after and a few days later it peeled. I used the wax that you use wax strips with. I really want to get hard wax and I now have the proper products I need pre and post waxing. I want to use that wax up that I have before I buy hard wax
@NaturallyEllae
@NaturallyEllae 3 жыл бұрын
@@EGORElicious oh okay! Yeah I know I’ve broken out in the past when I waxed a little too rough or not laying the wax down right. So maybe it’s a combination of things. Tweezing can cause scarring too so it’s so tricky 😓 But the condition I have is like the sister to endometriosis but it’s location in a different area of the uterus. & I’ve been on keto for 10 months now which helped so much in my weight loss journey. As women, we have to always be so careful with how inflammatory food effect our body and sugar, the whole 9🙄 But it’s definitely worth taking care of ourselves 🙏🏽❤️

@NaturallyEllae
@NaturallyEllae 3 жыл бұрын
It’s totally normal to have redness and some irritation. You do want to be mindful of your wax temperature and also prepping your skin. Have you used the items mentioned in the video at all? Maybe try that. Also using maybe aloe Vera juice afterward to calm the skin. Exfoliating during the growing cycle period is helpful as well to be sure you’re aiding the hairs to come out from the root when it’s ready to be waxed. I hope this helped answer your question 🙏🏽
