Same formula with wood pieces, I cook linseed oil with bee wax and applied it on wood. High heat & sun do help linseed to forming a thin film.

Hi there! You don't necessarily need to wax your leather gloves. But if you decide to make this simple procedure, you have better chances of them resisting the weather conditions a lot better and a lot longer.

Hot tip: a toothbrush makes it easy to reach all the seams and make sure they get a good dose of wax, too

Thanks @Jasfras1. As long as you let the leather soak the wax for a day you should be fine. The wax will not transfer with heat to other surfaces once it’s soaked in the leather.

Hi there Mike! Yrs, these methods would pretty much work for any leather piece you have at home, unless we're talking about brushed leathers such as suede or nubuck, these cannot be waxed.
