I have a buddy with the same problem. He's about a 26/28 in jeans (He's like 5'6 and 125). He can get away with 28/30 but we found out that some kids sizes fit him pretty well. He bought a pair of Chinos at J Crew in the kids section!

Yep, rather frustrating because I've watched 5 different types of videos you have and in each you're talking about the Lee jeans you're supposedly wearing and how they look with what we can only see from chest up. Each time I think, "Why is he not showing the whole outfit, even for a moment, and even if that's not the focus of the video if he's going to mention it?"

I was waiting literally for years for this video, watching every other RMRS content. Seems to me its a really popular subject for guys who are starting to stop wearing T-shirts and want to look more formal, but still casual and not overdressed. You know, young men just after college (like myself) and so on. Pair of jeans and sport jacket is the best option for this. Korean men are more into sports jacket as well. for a kpop look. But I do agree that it boils down to the fit and color combination. You can wear fit jeans a spery top sider, a white shirt over a peach sports jacket or a and viola miami vice :)

I have great success with a greys brown tweed with a cope of other colors mixed in.My jeans can be new,to pretty faded,and western boots,with a more casual aussie style hat.I can wear multiple color shirts,and still get many compliments with this style outfit.

I would recommend to add more pictures to these how-to's in general (a picture is worth more than a thousand words, they say sometimes). I think you might have a lot more subscribers who's primary language is not English. Though I'd like to think I speak the language pretty well, I am completely lost with words when it comes to clothing. I tend to understand it only when I see it. More pictures would lead to more "aha" moments as well. Other than that, great channel! Thank you!

Faded jeans with a sport coat are cool if they are clean and creased. I like slimmer style jeans like you recomend but if you are husky don't squeeze in, forget the whole sport coat and jean thing. Its for a slim reasonably taller guy. Navy cord, tan leather and tan micro fiber with jeans look sharp.

Interesting, yet I don't necessarily agree with avoiding sneakers. Solid white Jordans or a shell toe pair of Adidas can work. Especially if you have some that have a detail color on the eyelets that works with the wardrobe.

I have 3 sport jackets that go well with lighter colored jeans. All of my jeans are boot cut, incidentally. I wear boots with great frequency, and I find that the style of dress/casual shoe that I prefer goes well with them. My casual style is generally "rock star" oriented, so the worn jean works for me, too. The jackets that I wear with my jeans are: A medium gray colored wool jacket. This is my basic, go-to jacket. I can basically throw on a collared shirt, or a sweater, slip on the jacket, and I'm ready for dinner at most places. It works from mid-fall to mid-spring, so most of the year. I have another gray jacket, with some dark specks. This is more of a rockstar jacket, and I generally have to put thought into wearing that one. It's lighter weight, so I can wear it in warmer months. And, I have a light, cream colored jacket. This is definitely a spring and summer jacket. It has paisley embroidery on it, that's the same color as the jacket. I typically wear a dark shirt with it, as I have dark hair and light skin. The contrast of the dark shirt, with the light jeans and jacket, keep me from "washing out".

In the 70's (in New York City) we worn bell bottoms and flared jeans (starched and creased) with sport coats and blazers. I started doing it again about 6 years ago now living in North Carolina and I always get compliments from strangers. For some reason some people consider me to be dressed up. Go figure.

Lee jeans are actually pretty big even in norway. They're a step above H&M clothes, I used to wear that brand alot before I decided to upgrade one step above that again. They're nice and affordable, but not super-cheap. They have a really nice fit tho. (Depending on the specific jeans)

Hi man, in my humble opinion it's a bit perplexing as to what you what you are referring to as a casual oxford shoe since they are probably the most formal model - even slightest difference in the anatomy of shoe has a different name (take Brogues or Bluchers for example). In any case, the denims are the license to dress down the shoe by a slight degree; a pair of leather loafers (forget about tassles) would be more a more fitting pair with denim than oxfords. Just dress down the shoe to fit fit with the overall aesthetic of the outfit. Hope it helps!

PartiZAn18 I guess the pair of shoes I was looking at aren't true Oxfords then. I have a good pair of shoes for casual and formal occasions, but not so much a mix of casual/formal. Leather loafers are probably my best bet. Thanks!
