Some ladies weren’t taught proper etiquette. They don’t realize that loud perfumes in most settings (not all, but most) is perceived as trashy/low class. It’s along the lines of wearing inappropriate clothes to work, showing bra straps anytime, etc. It is always best to keep your fragrance within your own personal space bubble. There are very FEW occasions/events where it is acceptable for your fragrance to enter the room before you or project more than 2ft.

I always think it’s funny when people say that they overspray no matter what, and they wear their perfumes unapologetically, etc. Like everyone around you is getting choked out, calm down on the heavy handed sprays 😂

Yeah, I don’t understand people who hype up over-spraying insanely strong, bold fragrances. It’s not even enjoyable. You become a walking headache either for yourself or others.

I love fragrance, but please Do Not wear anything that projects on a plane (this is the time for very close to the skin scents or nothing at all).

I know that Alien has been slightly reformulated and the newer version is not as potent/beast mode, but I’m still surprised you didn’t mention Alien by Thierry Mugler! My favorite. Love watching your videos. I’ve been a fan for a couple years now.. ❤️

I was on the fence about Alien because I love the old formulation and it's definitely beast mode but I just don't like what they've done to it recently so I'm boycotting it 🫣

Haha I overspray everything. Except for Amouage Guidance- (3-4 mists is more than enough) and Rosendo Mateo no.5. Also cannot overspray Xerjoff Accento Overdose. But everything else is fair game for me 💙

BR540 on my skin is for some reasons pretty weak. I need to spray 4-5 times before people around me can smell it.

I can’t even overspray my softer skin scents let alone beast mode ones. I’ve become a bit more intolerant to perfumes unfortunately but I will try the knees and back of the neck suggestion!!

I've also become super sensitive since I'm constantly exposed to fragrance and the back-spraying seems to help. I hope it does the trick for you 🥰

I once oversprayed Delina (about a year or so ago)and ever since then have never used it at all. I am just repulsed by it now. :( it’s sad because it is beautiful

Depending on how polarizing the scent profile is I go 3 - 10 sprays for beastly scents

My recent experience with (pink sugar 🌚) taught me this!! Two sprays are literally enough.. and ive noticed one interesting thing with these strong (highly macerated) perfumes too, is that my nose gets anosmic when being very close to a strong scent like these 🤯

I’d say more like 5-6 sprays is enough. But otherwise I agree. I oversprayed for the first time a few weeks ago and I felt sick the whole night, literally couldn’t breathe 🤢🤢😭😭. Ive officially learnt my lesson 😂 never again 👎🏼

Hi Yana. Boy, do I ever agree with you about overspraying! Baccarat 540, one of my favorites, requires 1, maybe 2 sprays, period. So many overspray it. Like you, I haven't touched mine in months. Everywhere I go, I'm bombarded by the fragrance. My husband is guilty of spraying a scent with oud and rose, way too much. I told him it makes me gag. With that particular scent, 1 spray is more than enough. 🤦‍♀️ Thank you for spreading the word about over use. ❤❤

​@@TheScentedI do too! My daughter's favorite perfume was Le Labo Santal 33. But everyone was either wearing it or the dupe. She stopped wearing it completely. My rheumatologist has been wearing Angel for at least 20 yrs. It's not a good scent for, me, it would smell lovely on her, if only she would use less. I smell her perfume before she enters the room. Ugh. 😮

Just happened upon your video and had high hopes. But the minute you started lecturing about what..and what not to do, you lost me. I get that it may be your opinion and experience but it didn't come off that way. For us folks that are post Covid and who lost part of our sense of smell, well I'm gonna spray a little heavier because I want to be able to smell myself. I mean, if "I" can't smell my frags, then what's the point? In addition...hubby and I both work at home so gonna spray as much as I want. And to these ladies that say other's need to learn perfume etiquette....? Whatever. Of course I'm not going to go out in public or to work doused in fragrance. Come on. But when I have spent the kind of money I have spent...you bet I'm gonna spray to my hearts delight. I do have some so called "beast mode" frags and even with my heavy hand have never ever started coughing or choking myself out. It's called "strategic spraying" ;)
