I have always worn black year-a-round. My "go-to" style accessory is a scarf to add color to the black base. Now that I have embraced my aging hair color, salt-n-pepper, black looks very striking on me. A statement necklace is a great substitute when not wearing a scarf. To me, black always looks chic and elegant. You can dress it up OR down, depending on the event or your mood.
