That is a fun technique! Thank you so much for sharing. Your scarf turned out so pretty! I love that the weft floats showcase your art yarn. I just started spinning and have made some art yarns for weaving on my Saori loom. I will just make some floats with my shuttle. I will check out the community coral reef art installation. I love to snorkel and have seen so much damage over the years to coral reefs. Thanks again for the fiber fun!

This is mind blowing for me. A new weaver here, everything seems so technical and you just made it look easy and fun. I can wait to try this with my Cricket and some of my art yarn. Spinning is way easier than weaving. 😁 Just discovered your channel and it's a hidden gem. You do all the crafts. Might even have to patreon.

You added an extra 10 inches of warp to each end...a total of 20" extra? did i hear you correctly? thank you. i enjoy your videos and the fact that you are a fun weaver...me too! I do not take too seriously, and believe in "punting" when things go wrong. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised!

That is correct. In the past I was only doing 8" at each end but I was found I needed a little more to actually make my garments as long as I had planned for them to be when finished. So I go with 10" now on each end. Thanks for watching and joining me on these small fiber adventures. ~Shiree
