I know I'm not the only one. My problem is being able to see while I'm welding. It's mostly too dark. If I adjust the helmet then it's too bright. What does help is if I shine a light on what I'm welding. Is there anything I can try to help my situation. Thank you

Will you make video based around fabricating with something like 16ga square tubing and minimizing distortion? It seems the welding is often the most talked about but not the fit up and fabrication side of things.

Also, in a scenario such as this, maybe talk about which welding process would be most efficient and time effective. It took me 4-5 hours to make two 16"x16" (1" 16ga square tubing) frames yesterday with 45 degree corner cuts and the end product didn't leave my satisfied. I love how you get straight to the point, I am not a fan of intros.

I love the idea, you know it’s funny I am planning on doing more fabrication and welding because there’s not really a massive amount online is there! Nice talking to you I will definitely add it to my list and get some 16ga ordered!

@@AllMyDaysFeelTheSame just checked the box section I can get it ordered in the next week or so, what welding process did you use to build your frames??

@@WELDUCATED I am in my first year of welding school, I used mig to tack it up and welded the rest of the corners with TIG and carbon steel filler rod. I think I should have done mig stringer beads but decided tig would require less grinding.

@@WELDUCATED I think a huge reason the end result did not lay flush (2 of the 4 corners directly opposite from each other are slightly higher than the other 2) is because I only had a small aluminum topped table to weld on and the entire frame was not flat on the table, hanging off halfway most of the time. Also I had to use a angle grinder to cut the 45 corners so there was a decent gap on some of the corners, Which was also a reason I used tig instead of mig for the rest of the welding.
