Question about the roll out and capping with 70. Does that cause it to pull like that. I usually do throat last to keep from pulling or do you have it out on fit so it pulls in?

Well yes on the throat it does like to pull more good point so yes there is a lil tolerance there but for the most part after the bead and hotpass it should be solid but you always face the 90 to get the fit again and it wouldn’t be much

As a life long welder myself why do you try to hide your buttons in an industrial setting I could understand if it was a art piece or something but not on an industrial place

Well As a life long welder you should absolutely know it’s all about the appearance and you want the best to show and the buttons are not the best part of the weld. You must not be a pipe welder. It’s a pipe welding thing I was taught over 15 years ago so idk why it would sound new 😂
