Had a slightly opposite approach to you this year in a 1QB league and won the ship. Loaded at RB: Henry, Kamara, Kyren and then traded for Achane at deadline. WR I was carried by a star and some fillers: Chase, Terry, Cooper, Deebo, Thielan. And then I hit on drafting Daniels and had McBride locked in. Definitely interested in flipping my approach to what you did though.

I can't trade Hill for Ayiuk directly at the deadline, let alone get a first-round pick on top of that. In a 10-team league, it's a tough situation; your quarterback is what really secures you a win, nothing more.

Thanks for the video. In a 14 team 1 QB PPR League. I get what you’re saying about keeping your elite WR. I already have JaMaar so what if there was an option to move Ceedee Lamb and Brian Robinson to pickup Rashee Rice and Gibbs. Flies in the face of your strategy but if Rice is elite and we know Gibbs is elite in your opinion is that enough value back to move off of Lamb? Thanks.

Your first team is very similar to mine, especially the WR room! I also have CeeDee, Amon Ra, AJ, and Rashee. My other big name is London so I’m hoping to contend again next year after losing the championship game

Thanks Addison for all your help. Our 1st season in a very competitive Dynasty 12 team, half per, 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs and 2 flex. We finished 7gh our first year, highest scoring team the 2nd year, but lost the championship game, and won it all this year. We started out drafting 11th year one, but with trades and waiver wire pickups (29 man roster), we now have Kyler Murray & Russell Wilson at QB, Saquon, Montgomery and Rachaad White, TE, Andrews and Engram and at WR We have Puka, AJB, London, Evans, Godwin, Metcalf, Deebo, Jakobi Meyers and Bateman. We'd like a better QB, but the priority is RB depth. Thoughts?

Completely get what you’re saying about RBs in dynasty, but just wanted to add I’ve got a team that just went back-to-back that has Gibbs and Bijan. But I went through a heavy rebuild in 2021 and 22 and was lucky enough to acquire both in the rookie draft. To be fair, it also has Nico, Puka and Tee, but the two rbs were my pillars most of the year. That’s what makes dynasty so fun, though-so many different ways to win!

I’d take Baker for sure and I’m fine adding Downs, but would try a random pick or something instead first. Though I will ask - is Baker needed if you have Dak and Kyler? Could you instead just upgrade from them?

Addison, how much value do you put into the TE position? I am in a PPR start 10 league (non superflex, non TE premium), and I have Hockenson primed for 2025. Would you suggest having TE depth that is young, upside backups, or a second premium TE, or dart throw guys with upside like Ertz this season? How should I play it?

Great question! With Hock being your starter, I’d quantify him as an upside weekly guy with the ability to return into elite weekly guy. So I’d probably want one ok starter behind him, a la Engram/Ferguson/Jonnu or something and then a flier as my TE3 as a young upside guy like Sinnott/Sanders/Theo/etc. If you also find your way into a Gesicki/Ertz type, I don’t hate that either.

My home league SF team has an elite WR room (Chase, Puka, AJB, London, Higgins, Rice) and I have Saquon and Henry as my main RBs with Burrow, Maye, Darnold and Fields at QB. I feel like I need to find a way to upgrade my QB2/3 as I passed on Daniels for Marv in my rookie draft who I eventually used to get Burrow.

@ I also have the 1.09 in the draft if that helps at all. Only issue with Hurts is the guy who has him is probably my biggest competitor in this league haha. I got upset in the semi finals thanks to the Falcons defense killing me (hate D/ST in dynasty) Lamar and Josh Allen are also probably out of the question. So I might need to look for someone like Goff or Herbert.

Trading with your biggest competition isn’t an issue to me if it helps your team, and I think Saquon + Darnold for Hurts really helps your team. I wouldn’t go for Goff, I think he’s worse than Maye right now. Herbert maybe.

@ only other guy I can think of is Daniels on a mid tier team that has admitted he is looking for a high end RB. He’s rebuilding his roster a bit. Only other options out there right now are Dak, Tua, Kyler and maybe Caleb if I offered enough. Herbert would be nice to have but idk if Darnold/1.09 is enough and his only other asset id want is Bowers but it’s not a TEP league. So idk if I’d give up Saquon for him.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even worry about running backs right now until you get WRs. You’re probably not competing in 2025, so why do you need RBs if you’re not competing?

Hey Addison. I play in a 10 team superflex 2pt. TE premium league start 10. I have Jefferson, Chase, Nabers, AJ Brown, Olave, and traded for Aiyuk at WR. I’m trying to trade AJ Brown to upgrade my TE’s (Engram, Kincaid, Goedert, Ertz, Strange) but don’t know what I should target as a return in a Brown trade. The team that beat me by 0.4 in the championship this year starts Bowers, McBride, and Kittle every week and is unwilling to move them in the 2pt TE premium format. Are there any second or third Tier TE’s you would target in a ln AJ brown trade that could put my team over the top? I won the championship last season and bummed I lost by less than a point on the final catch by Kittle this year. But with Burrow, Baker, Herbert, and Dak in my QB room and CMC, Taylor, mixon, and swift in my RB group, I think my priority should be TE upgrade. Also I trade away my first and third for this year so no picks to play with. Any advice would be appreciated!

The only TEs I’d trade AJB for would be Bowers and McBride. If you go lower than them, I need some pretty decent +++ coming back with that TE. So like Hock++ for AJB or Andrews++.

This is nearly the exact same way what i did in my dynasty league. I took over a broken team in 2020, traded all my value and old players away and collect future Picks. Owned 2 consecutiv Years the 1.01 and build my Rooster compleatly new. Have now Burrow, Richcerdson and Young at QB, Bijan, Hall and Brooks, Jefferson, Nabers, Garrett Wilsson, JSN and also Bowers and Kincaid. Now i have the 2nd youngest Team and the most value offense in the league. This year I lost my first playoff game by one point, next year the Tilel will be attacked.
