Nice, although I never fought other players in Elite Dangerous, I know there is a community out there that enjoys PvP ship battles. I might have to check it out again to get some peaceful mining done when I'm bored, hah! Nothing beats finding the 3 "P"s...platinum, paladium, and whatever the 3rd one was, lol.

is there more content like this? i played FTL for like 3 days straight when i first found it. Hard more, no pause, felt impossible but i loved it. Never got even close to winning. Im so happy to see this is a thing *also is there any material to learn the "meta" i.e whats best for what ships to win on hard mode?

I have a whole playlist of "How to win" runs, although it's an older playlist, so I'm not sure how many videos are there. "Learning the meta" is hard in FTL because every run and every situation is different. I created a "tier list" of weapons, and prioritizing getting stronger weapons can help. Also, Hacking and Cloaking are considered 2 of the best systems to get because they give guarantees in a random game (cloaking guarantee player dodges, hacking guarantee shields/piloting to be useless for enemies). Yes, that is the current challenge I'm doing on Wednesdays. The playlist for that is here: kzbin.info/aero/PLAZifSjEJopR5F4lLbFfV74HKPpDD2TRj We're basically attempting to get hard mode, NO pause streaks with every ship and see which ships are the strongest.

@@rand118 yep I'm already 4 videos into this series lol. That double fire asteroid 😂 was literally the perfect content I was hoping for. I played this game on hard no pause for like 30 hours straight when I first bought it and gave up thinking it was impossible. Glad to be proven wrong. After 5 years I'm definitely coming back! I've never even seen the end boss because I refused to use pause or easy

@@bakaraymoo7389 Yeah, this definitely a game where winning on the hardest difficulty with no experience is basically impossible, IMO. There is too much randomness, too much strategy, and too many punishing events to win on Hard mode with no prior knowledge of FTL.

I stream at 720-1080p, and I'm currently able to choose up to 1080p on the video right now...so I'm not sure why your resolution is 480p or lower...

Those are your default settings buddy. If you go to video settings (the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner on mobile) you'll be able to select higher video resolution. Hope this helps!

Maybe you're in a different country and quality settings are disabled or something? I know on twitch, quality settings are sometimes unavailable for certain people or streams. You might need to contact youtube if this is a problem for many videos you try to watch.

Yeah, we separated and I moved out about a year and 2 months ago. She is now living with another dude and pregnant...so we're no longer a thing, heh. I talked about it on stream some, but probably never mentioned it in any of the youtube highlights until now.
