Paper trading! To most, I’d be a clean slate. Almost all my knowledge on this comes from you and an accidental gain on s&p that I pulled out recently having forgot about it 2 months earlier. I’m ready to start paper trading and will do so on WT. I had a recent medical issue that has me at home to heal for a while and I don’t want to waste time that I have available to learn. I’m beyond excited. I’m only watching your videos so I can focus on the specifics and be methodical from the get go. Will see how it goes!

Great value for money, following it right now and learning alot. However, as a beginner it would be great to also have access to the simulator during this period and to learn how to set it up and practice with it. I would be more eager to pay a monthly fee after having used it successfully. Dropping $100/m for a simulator or to get access to 200$/m broker platforms is a big step for a beginner if they don't know the techniques to cover for these costs yet. I'm international and trying IBKR but I'm too new to set it up properly, orders are not getting filled, platform too slow or I'm doing it wrong, etc... from what I've learned so far, speed and having the right tools and information is key but out of reach for beginners.

@5150Magic5 ай бұрын
@@Jeromeb27 It was pretty good. I didn't take full advantage of it because, well, life happened. I did find that the trial was enough to show that he is no different in what he shows on his vids to what you pay for. When he says he is losing money for the 20 dollar trial, he isn't lying. The data fees is what costs him money, so his trial period is considered a 'loss leader' in sales. I thought it was worth it just from the standpoint of watching and listening to him during trading hours on the live chat stream. All my opinion of course, but for 20 bucks how can you go wrong? Hope this helps.

I watched this video on Wednesday, started paper trading with $500 for practice on Thursday. Today is Saturday, and my paper account has over $900! I did everything you said in the video (although, I do go for large floats if they have a lot of volume). Still not sure if I have just been lucky for two days, but can’t wait to go again on Monday. I mistakenly shorted (I didn’t think I could sell a stock I didn’t have, and that it was a glitch) a stock whose price dropped on the first day and was amazed when I made $12. So I only shorted on the second day, and had a very good day. Also, I did around 6-7 trades both days. Am going to continue paper trading for the month (can never rule out simple beginners luck) before I decide whether to move to using real money. Thanks for your amazing advice!

@@DaytradeWarrior Thanks, but the advice you give here is already invaluable 💯 Friday was great, because I saw that CHSN (I think that’s right) stock going crazy, and applied the old adage, “What goes up, must come down,” so I shorted it at $38 (only for 10 stocks) started sweating when it went up to $40+, but I took a breath, removed any stop losses, and road the wave to the eventual downturn!

Yesterday, I watched my first Ross Cameron video and today my second one. I am sold on his system and set of rules. One hell of an educator and so easy to follow. I do have one question and I'm not sure if I'll get an answer, but here it is. With a $500 or $1,000 account as you reference, are you just using that amount of money out of your total capital to day trade on or are you doing more of a swing trade with a low account like that? At this point, I don't have the minimum of $25k to be a day trader. I wish I could turn back time and started this many, many years ago. Thanks for the education! UPDATED: I read Ross' story online and now understand how he did it. Very smart!

But right now I'm doing ok with making 20 bucks a day using a 500 dollar chunk. 20 bucks a day will double my account in a month. That's awesome in my opinion. Ross, thanks again. I went back and looked through a slew of charts and I'm really starting to see this. Question, do you buy these patterns even in if they're below VWAP? I've been staying away from anything below VWAP unless it breaks it going higher. However, a lot of the charts I reviewed from today, this pattern worked well even below VWAP. I think I would find myself selling some at VWAP and holding the rest in hopes (I know, hope is not a strategy 😃) the stock will break the VWAP and head higher. A lot of stocks did just that today; however, I know I have to keep in mind the market ended up in the green today, which helped a lot of stocks move higher. Cheers, J
