The key thing to understand if the budget is low, is comparing your daily budget to the price of you products or services. Do you get a realistic ROAS? If the answer is yes, your budget might be on. If the answer is no, you might want to reconsider your budget.

This is a very good course, thanks so much, Darren. I always relied on ad agencies to set up Google Ads. Because of you, I now know what really goes into setting up a Google Ads campaign. I'm right in the mix of this, issue I have is customers that should make me money want me to work for nothing and puts me in this evil hole on top of this I have competition clicking my ads also 😂

Hi Darren, Before watching your videos, i was spending much out of my small budget and i was in upper part of the funnel as you explained. I used performance max campaign, display networks and partner but the traffic was of very low quality and was not converting at all. out of 800 + clicks only 12 converted and those are irrelevant. now i have taken control of my campaign and started twiking let see what happens. thanks for sharing knowledge.

Most Life Insurance affiliates start off with a £250 per day budget, this may get them 25 clicks. A great tip like Darren says, IF you make profit, plow it back into your business, and expand your budget. The larger the budget, the more money you will make (in theory). Some LI affiliates I know are spending £3k-£5k per day easily.

Why is 10 clicks too little per day to generate leads? I understand it may take a lot of time to gather data, but wouldn't it still be profitable at the end of the month? (after maybe 2 months optimizing or so)

Very good video, thank you! What match type should I use on small budget? I’ve tried exact match but I don’t get any traffic that way. So is wide match the only option? Or should I just add more exact match keyword variations?

New subscriber here - love your content! Just one silly question - My campaign is constantly receiving a 'limited by budget' warning. It's been two weeks now. Should I lower my tCPA or increase my daily budget? I've tried both - but nothing has changed except that the campaign is getting way fewer impressions than before

If limited by budget, give more budget and keep the bid strategy the same. If you don't touch the target you shouldn't see a drop in impressions

hey darren, google is going to phase out third party cookies from this year, so for tracking user data will server side tracking helps? can you make a specific video based on this topic that how it will impact google ads and what will be the possible solution for that.

Thanks, Darren. Great advice. What happens when you’re using manual cpc as a bidding strategy and Google keeps jacking up the cost of first page bidding every day to something higher (even without many competitors) so you either have to pay to play or not be shown? I ended up going back to smart bidding so I could get my ads shown but there’s gotta be a more efficient way, no?

Google often plays with the threshold of uncontested auctions, so they can jack up the price at will. The only way to guarantee traffic is through a target impression share or max clicks strategy, if it's a campaign targeting very few terms without any competition. Manual CPC won't react to the changes in threshold pricing

One thing I wanted to mention is that you talk a lot about budget. I think what is even more important is how much advertising margin does a product allow. For example, what if you are forced to have 900% ROAS to stay profitable for a product rather than being limited by a budget.

I am new to Google Ads. I developed my own product, built a Shopify website and now starting Google Ads. I am a bit leery of the CPC looking to be a lot higher than I was expecting, as the range could be $1-$4. If I am spending $4 a click, I would have to get a sale with an insanely small amount clicks to make a profit. I am selling a $400 product and I was hoping to spend $40 for CPA. But that means I would have to make a sell every 10 clicks, which is not realistic. Am I viewing this wrongly?

Hey there ! thank you so much for this video, I've been watching you since a bit and I really like your ways of teaching. I have a question, I'm running an account focused on house building, there are very few conversion, maybe one par week, it is the average compared to the market performance at the moment, but I have launched this campaign a month ago and the clicks are starting to show consistency, should I wait before switching from maximize click to maximize conversion ? And is the fact that Im getting a really low amount of conversion a major problem ? Thanks a lot for you response, and best to you !

Is it a waste of resources to target category pages instead of product pages (where the CTA button is) of an e-commerce store while having a small budget and using maximize clicks bidding? I am looking at data from another campaign where the budget is a bit higher(Maximize conversion value) and the performance is as follows: 1. Category pages 2. Product Pages 3. Manufacturer pages

Small budget means using shopping ads for e-commerce as opposed to category pages level search campaigns. Focus on one niche product type and run shopping ads

Hello Darren and thank you so much for the valuable information! What do you think of the "call-only campaign" for a local business "dental clinic"? Or is it better to go for search campaign with all the extensions added "website, testimonials, before and after.. " Which one is more likely to get more conversions for the same budget in your expert opinion?

If I may: Call only campaigns can work well but they definitely require much more ad spend than a search campaign with extensions added.

Hey man thanks for the video...we have a flooring business and my budget is 70 daily...but after a while that google spent 110 plus daily instead of the set 70, now its sayong budget limited and thrbdaily spend is beloe 70 and around 30 and impresson and clicks are so low whereas the firdt days they way crazy even tho only 2 conversions happend but still..... Do you have any suggestions? Why cant google just spend the daily 70 i chosen and it go way higher or get budget limited and spend not even the half of the budget

Branding first. Luxury goods move slower so you'll need to establish yourselves first to build trust. But the other side is that you can get big returns as a result of the high price point.
