I'm 8k MMR with 2500+ Games on TA. This video is a guide on how to play ta in patch 7.33 where she's regarded as an average hero. I have a 70%+ winrate as TA in 7.33 and I feel like TA players need a change of playstyle and mentality in order to make her work. This guide will teach you that.

Love the videos, high quality guide! One thing I would like to see more in your videos is references to the gameplay we're watching, u said to keep slippers as is, but at 2:30 u finish a wraith band first. Another example is u saying not to go back to our side of the map after taking tower, while gameplay showing you farming triangle. Maybe you could explain why you adapted a different approach or there's an opportunity for some jokes. Keep up the good work!!!

I bought wraith band in that scenario because I got first blood and I was against void spirit. I was just experiemnting so my bad on that visual for sure. As for the tower taking thing was me referencing what people do wrong and then another visual with what is correct.

very cool video and interesting approach, made me realize how much i've been griefing with her xD. I just think this video needed a section for hard matchups and recovery from lane phase, as a player with only about 100 games on TA I still struggle to dominate mid or often I'm losing lane and being forced out, especially against vipers, pugnas, necros etc. I know TA's a tempo hero that's on a timer, but i'm sure an experienced player like you may have cards to deal with that kind of situaton situation.

Thank you for the special mention for shard - not sure why it is not so common in builds. I was a drow spammer before learning TA, so picking up shard to silence/slow while fighting feels very second nature. But what makes the shard more special is selectively being able to silence stun supports before a big fight and taking them out first. Unfortunately that TA is played in a burst and kite style because of blood grenade and DOTS hero running rampant.

Hi i watch most of your video related to core, but i got 1 question. What you do as carry when your pos 5 leave the lane at min 3, and u cant laning at all because pos 4 enemy outzone and stop u from pulling, and when you decide to go jngle enemy pos 4 will always hunt you? Basically this scenario happened mostly in every single game for SEA rank match where SEA player dont know how to support

what about playing versus counterpicks? like if you pick ta and there's last pick huskar it means i can't pressure mid in any way and now i can only take team space or there's other ways?

Against huskar u have 10% chance of winning if you know how to play ta. Otherwise u just jungle post level 3

I prefer dragon lance for the HP gains and Attack Range. Allows me to have a better position which helps a lot in fights because I'll be playing aggressively. Deso is more for a farming item if you rush it

she can be good, but it`s very situational, she`s kinda falling late game compared to the usual pos 1 heroes, like PA, spectre, anti-mage, void, jugg...etc...you`ll never win if they`re farmed too. it`s only good if u are able to finish the game before min 30...

Blitzspanks, one of the biggest TA spammers I know (he's been spamming since DotA 1) made an entire video just commenting on how awful TA looks in this patch, giving several arguments, such as Blood Grenade destroys all refraction instances (even at level 4). I recommend checking it out later, especially if you are considering TA for your hero pool in this patch. Even though I recognize this video is a guide and doesn't address the hero situation as a main topic, I'll stick with Blitz. Other than that, great video as always.

Elaboration on it. His point about blood grenade, I treat refraction more as a damage thing over a defensive thing post laning phase. If I'm taking damage, I'll instantly blink out before it runs out, that's something instinctive as a TA player. Other than that, I've played 0 games where enemy mid-laner will use a blood grenade on me (even if they did, it won't matter as much because they cant 100 to 0 me ever). Blood Grenade argument can be applicable in the safelane but then again, in the safelane you're 2v1 so you'll lose refraction charges easier anyway. The thing about traps and the map being bigger. My video goes over how you want to play a specific area and place traps around it. You don't need to play the entire map. Plus the shard pick up grants you more traps. I have a lot of respect for blitz because I learned some things about TA from him when I started out spamming her. I hope he watches this video and tries this play style. Fairly certain if you're a TA spammer and you know how to win your lanes, this playstyle will get you more than 70% Win Rate so long as you follow it.
