That radiance safelane pull camp ward placement, is so disgusting and just unfair if you are playing dire side, it's a suicide mission to destroy that ward in the early game, i think valve should make it so wards can't be placed near trees or other objects, i'm a casual dota player and pos 4-5 player, it makes no sense i have to watch an pro talking about wards placements to compete against the tryhards.

The art of support - knew the timing for pull or helping line - stack creep when possible - help dennied your creep - create space for your line(basically you bait enemy and lure them to give your carry free xp, try not to die is the hardest part) - ward&deward is your only way to get gold - if you think you can secure kill, do it. Better than leave one opportunity wasted(if your carry blame you, just say "im sorry") - have map awarness and instant reaction for enemy ganking - priorities tp for helping line - dust&smoke is your job - dont expose yourself when war, you're enemy carry first target so stay invisible but stick with your team - building your team mental by saying wp,gj,also give them tip if you have extra bp - when you feel the enemy smoke gank sacrifice yourself by strolling yo save your carry(yeah its hurt) - try to not die to much Even after doing all those hardwork above,90%your team will blame you for your lack support, dont get rageout and keep calm, thats the beauty of support player

Nah. Support role is not as bad back then. People nowadays play support a lot and have it as a main role. Support is great because if you guys lost, It's not your fault. If you win, you are part of it. People also nowadays blatantly hate Carry and Mid Players. Carry = Win the game, you got carried, Lost the game, All your fault. Regarding responsibilities Offlane and Support are lenient. Mid is the second worse since it's more early game oriented and carry is definitely the worst. I only play Support (5 and 4 ever since I started). In my experience losing as a carry/mid feels twice as bad when losing as a support. Winning on the other hand feels way great as a mid/carry but i definitely got carried.

One ward I've been doin' pretty much every game and I've never had it dewarded from what I can remember is against enemy OFFLANE. You put it as close to their tower away from the river. You can see their lane and tower meaning if you loosing your lane you can see any tp ganks or sometimes if they are pulling the wave. If you are winning the lane you can spot TPs from anyone trying to defend the tier 1 and it's just a good overall ward if you can spare it, cus' sometimes there are more important wards depending on the game ofc

My frustration comes with supports that won't ward the high ground when we have the advantage because they are scared of the deward when it's clear that any support that comes to try and deward will get melted before they even get to place down a sentry. And the other frustration is cores not defending these wards and just watching a support go by. It makes no sense trying to hide a low ground ward when there is no way they can deward your high ground ward

Its because cores usually dont make use of the advantage the vision gives. High ground wards almost always get dewarded by enemy supports because cores play AWAY from it, instead of playing around it.

Problems isn't warding but self interests. The game is unable to provide any incentive/rewards on helping others and playing their roles perfectly to promote team play. Yes this is not an issue for teams participating in event however, in pubs its a different story.

Not about "warding" per se, but worht to mention waveblocking first wave on enemy safelane with a ward behind a tree or behind a tango by T2 tower. Lets your first offlane wave push into enemy tower and get killed instantly, bringing equilibrium just outside your T1 with second wave.
