Respect to that Paul player . Got downloaded and didn’t run away from the set. Most players don’t rematch after you adapt to them .

Im totally new to tekken fight scene. I started my journey in tekken 8, im now Fujin after ALOT of learning. What i found out recently is people got a preset. They start the same way, they do the same combo and should result in the same win. If you break them out of that, they struggle. Most people learn combos but not how to play the game
@crillz9660Ай бұрын
this actually taught me a lot about myself too, as i made it kishin, i noticed the bushin ranks i was fighting would make me pay for hard reading a lot from crouching for no reason at all. appreciate the video bro

Honestly so few players in ranked focus on good neutral game its shocking. I've seen players even at the highest ranks who refuse to do anything but crouch block and Phish for launchers/sweeps/hop kicks and try to rush you down with 50% combos. I love these tips because you can genuinely beat 80% of people with simple poke, reads and forcing them to engage rather than running into them to engage while they're lower. Bring them out of their flow chart and into the neutral game and they crumble.

I think the game is flowcharty in t8 because of 2 main reasons : -Sets are very short -Damage is very high (with chip) As a red ranked olayer I can t tell the amount of blue/god ranks I win against and vice versa brown ranks I lost against...sometimes you figure out the flowchart very fast and sometimes you onlt got one round left...also the amount of people who just cancel after getting beat is a bit too high for my taste.

I believe what most people overlooked even in high ranks is breaking throws... I believe he just spams command throw to make people panik and press unecessarily
@benpurcell591Ай бұрын
What's disappointing is how hard it can be to deal with this in t8 compared to previous iterations of the game. You only get 2 games and your opponent can overwhelm by just doing wild stuff, power rush, heat burst/smash, keep the pressure on. Sometimes you don't get much of a chance to play neutral
@TKMotoRolA_RazRАй бұрын
yeah imo, it can take a minute to actually catch on to someone. you might lose the first two but by the third you have them downloaded. but in ft2 if you take too long to download it's an L.

Just watch your replays and see what u like to do after certain moves u do and also how u respond after getting attacked by your opponent. If u have to write it down so u can memories your defense and offensive patterns

Awesome video! I am playing like the Paul here though. I reached Emperor with Azucena (Ranked down recently to Bushin), but I noticed am abusing her power crush and backswing blow. It works in Tekken Gods so I continued doing it. And also rush and mixup my opponents, since I always hear that you should attack lot more in Tekken 8. I'll try to be more observant more. I'll avail coaching session if I cant see myself improving the following weeks/month.

How do these nuts and crazy players get god of destruction max rank? Doesn’t make sense a lot of high rank players should be high skilled like tekken king- god of destruction so I’m really curious how someone who doesn’t know frames nor respects them got there.

Well he plays paul. Playing paul like this can let u beat alot of players really fast without them being able to figure you out. In the first match he pretty much ran threw me. So I'm guessing most of his matches he does that to people
