How abt sniper ...he won't be near the spell cast range ..? Should we focus on farm and gank at right time ?
@BalloonDota3 ай бұрын
hey bro, for heroes or players that know how to keep their distance and not allow you to follow up harass after spell casting, it would be necessary to find openings to punish them when they run out of position. For example, pulling aggro to ranged forces them to move up to try and secure the creep, which is where you will proceed to use that opening to move up and trade with them as much as possible. Every opening they give you needs to be taken to punish them while they allow you to. If they do not overstep, then just chill and play the lane as normal without forcing the spell + harass + right click trade as that will not be possible.

@@lukalastname8199 on Dota 1, my qop build is lvl 2 shadow strike, 1 blink, and max scream early. this time i max shadow, 1 blink, and then max scream later. i build right click for qop as scream based builds eats up a lot of mana. rush orchid then the poison (int) blade. im currently 25-5 this build but looking to improve it. what would the focus be on a hero like brood who doesnt really have a ranged spell for harrass and is mainly right click focused?
@BalloonDota25 күн бұрын
hey bro, for heroes like these, you would do the same initial steps like aggro, setting creeps etc, only difference is you would punish the enemy hero more heavily whenever they come in for a deny/last hit (using spell to punish/last hit then punish)

I'm jealous of people who have ping below 100. Unfortunately on my country server I have 140-170 ping with packet loss, because our servers are located further west. I have decent ping on Japan server (39-47), but the problem is that communication there is harder, not all the people know English, and the server's population is smaller by significant amount. If i were to search a match during at the weekend on our country server it would take 1-3 minutes max. On Japan server it would take around 20 minutes to find a match as an offlaner.😢

What about melee midlaners?
@BalloonDota3 ай бұрын
@@warzoneepicactions6907 the idea is the same, in the sense that you will need to set creeps, spell to last hit + harass + followup right clicks. The major difference would be knowing whether to aggro backwards to ranged or not by understanding the matchup. If weaker, pull aggro and avoid enemy trading. If stronger, avoid backwards aggro and trade with more forwards aggro.

2:30 I don't understand why you wanna secure creeps with spells like this. dont you only wanna use spells if you need to? necro walked into your for funsies so you get to hit the spell on him, but if he doesnt aren't you just forcing yourself to spend mana on securing creeps? at 4:00 it makes sense because you want both heroes to lose hp so he cant lane, but before that I dont get it. at 4:50 it makes sense to me because you dont wanna let them deny. 5:50 is same as 2:30, why do you wanna spend mana if you can defensively aggro, clearly there is some fundamental idea im missing.
@BalloonDota3 ай бұрын
hey bro, thanks for the questions for 2:30, the situation was just to set up a favorable trade in cases where the enemy hero did walk in, it would provide a favorable trade for storm to spell to secure creep + harass hero + follow up with right clicks (Securing last hit + trading right clicks on hero for more favorable trading advantage). if he was standing away and wasn't coming in, then it wouldn't make sense to spend mana to secure that melee creep. At that point its more about last hitting to secure the melee (dropping wave size down), then trading Necro/setting the enemy ranged into the next spell usage to secure ranged + harass enemy hero. for 5:50, again its related to favorable trading. if i can exchange 2-3 right clicks to last hit creeps VS 3 right clicks on enemy hero + spell to secure creep + spell to harass enemy hero + zone + stronger positioning, it would only make sense to build that advantage as early as possible while hero advantage is still equivalent/slightly skewed towards one side. hope that makes sense.
