I have been playing for about two years now, I consider myself an average player, maybe even a very little bit better than average, I still have a lot to learn. I play cruisers and BBs. The trouble is the better I get the more I feel my team mates are seriously wanting, especially the DD drivers. Please can WG bring in a tutorial or a trainer mode, it is really needed.

I feel that Battleship players are the worst. Broadside to the world, playing in the back of the map, leaving the flank they spawn on etc.

As a very new (2 weeks) player, I second the tutorials and trainer modes. Right now I suck at these games, but I really want to get better. Channels like Tbull are helpful, but the more training the better.

Every time someone on Reddit WOWL starts asking basic questions I send them to your KZbin channel because videos like this are so much better than trying to explain, and you do a great job teaching strategy. People who think it's a shoot-em-up NEED to spend time in your video library.

Bro I literally had a Cleveland yolo into a Myoko and 3 Battleships today when I was literally right behind him in my Yudachi spamming for him to fall back and that I’d set a smoke screen.. he responded negative and kept yolo’ing with the end being the expected result. We ended up losing the game by one ship

Keep these coming, so many players know how to sail and shoot but have NO idea how to help their team win. I have a new account on an Xbox I picked up cheap, to play on when my PS4 is in use to other family members. So I'm grinding tier IV again (I have 2 x PS4 accounts)in three lines; Russian cruisers Italian cruisers and USN Destroyers. I have very few commanders so it's challenging, BUT, my focus on this account is simply to try and win games. I'm not doing the campaigns, just playing to win and grind ships. 50 games in I have a 61% win rate as I already know how to play - game mechanics and tactics. So the idea is keep that win rate up by trying simply to help my team win more. Wish me luck.

I'm having a great Warships Legends day, I had 16 victories and 5 defeats with a 4 victory streak, a 5 victory streak, and then another 4 victory streak (regardless of me being alive or dead). I see players that won't even try to contest a cap if there is a DD on it. They are so terrified of being torpedoe'd they instead sail around just outside the cap zone, pinging the objective, hoping that the angry smoke cloud will go away and the enemy will magically appear....until they eat a bunch of torpedoes anyway because they were sailing in a straight line.

There WAS a glitch where if you set a carrier waypoint then use the comms-wheel it'll cancel out the waypoint and just yeet your carrier full speed ahead. Dunno if it's still there or the Weser guy hit go and then had an aneurysm.

Honestly the best way to win games is to exploit your team into aiding you. Like the Mahan whether he knew it or not by spotting that Emile allowed you to gun him down..

Sound stuff. One thing I would personally add is this. When you lose a game, don't look for other people to blame. It could be that the actions of other Players were a factor, but that's not the point. Instead, honestly ask yourself, "What could ***I*** have done better?". It's a much healthier attitude (imo), it goes towards improving your play, and odds are, there's at least one thing.

Helpful video, thanks for walking us through the process. How do you feel about the spotter planes being able to keep flying, no time or "fuel" limit after a carrier is sunk? I get just ripped on reddit for thinking "a ship off the board shouldn't be able to just keep playing"

Defending the base in CV, I'll fly over searching in a pattern. Find smoke cloud then you'll see AA go off and launch torps. Got lucky a couple of times. Love when I can sink the enemy after they sank me. How do you know you're on a bad DD playing team? When the carrier has to capture a Cap. 🤷🏽‍♂️. Love the tips.

Those two have the same objectives (capture and control objectives and counter enemy destroyers), but they are quite different in how they go about it

On World of Warships Blitz -- I would take myself over ANYONE in a DD. I genuinely think I am that good... on Legends... I would take a deaf blind mute over me in any ship.

These videos are great for beginners and all but not to be the one to talk shit but two of the largest channels for this game have over 19k subscribers and that doesn't count the ones who watch who aren't subscribed to both of them. Yet most players are horrendous no matter how many guides are made for this game. But hey maybe we are having a massive influx of new players 🤷🏻‍♂️ but I doubt that is why it's so bad lately.

I notice you always have team chat turned off, this doesn't help team work much. It's very frustrating to try to communicate to my team when no one can hear me. Yes, you will get those idiots that blast their crappy taste in music through, but you can mute them and still be able to talk to the rest of the team. Spamming the command wheel doesn't help.

I, for one, don't trust myself with an open mic because I get too frustrated with the blue potato farm sometimes. I'm not the best but dang it is hard to watch people literally do all the wrong things. Like when my BBs all hide behind islands not shooting anything I spot then pull out broadside after I'm dead one at a time and get wrecked. Or cruisers running away from the area a destroyer was seen even if they've got a friendly destroyer actively hunting it. Or when I take a bunch of damage winning my side but can't get a friendly to realize I need them for Will To Rebuild... Better that they can't hear me 😂

I communicate when divisioned, but my team chat is off most of the time as well when playing solo. I agree that team communication is very important, but just like the radio wheel other players usually ignore team chat and make the same losing moves that they would when muted

A couple of the most memorable games I've played had a division that was using team chat. Suddenly they had a fourth team member, me. When nearly half the team is in comms great plays happen. If you find the blue team frustrating maybe you need to just once use a mic and vent. It could be cathartic.
