Hi. As I understood well the best is select let s say 3 matches and put them total on 1 ticket? Or u select 3 matches and use combo bet so 1ticket (1+2 match) 2 ticket ( 1+3 match) a 3 ticket ( 2+3 match)?

Hi - First thing is to find what you deem to be value bets! If you only find one, you can only do a single bet. If you find two, maybe a double. However, imagine the scenario of it being early in the week, and you have a bunch of positive EV (Value) bets for the coming days - you might want to consider making a combination bet, such as 3 from 5 (10 bets). Or, if you had 7 picks lined up, what about 4 from 7 (35 bets). By making a combination, you at least get something back if say 3 of the five win! If 4 won, you would probably have a profit, and if all 5 won you have profited to the full. It's just a good way (insurance) to reduce variance, and balance your risk!

Thanks for the very informative videos. I have a question about value betting when odds are shifting - for example, Eintracht Frankfurt was a good value bet at 1.82, but if due to team news the odds subsequently drifted prior to kick off to say 1.9 or 2.0 does this mean the bet is now of poor value despite being good value when it was placed?

Thanks! Yes - when betting early you won't always beat the CLV (closing line value). However, the opposite is also true, in that the 1.82 can drop further to say 1.70. Keep beating the odds of the benchmark - and you will finish ahead!

If I can beat the bookies price, can’t I then play on betfair where the prices are better and afford to take the hit from their charges because of the higher prices?

@@lukebayshaw1958 But Betfair & Pinnacle are your benchmark, not the other way around. The value is in finding higher odds than Betfair,otherwise - no bet!
