Will never forget the keymaster type of game with a cylinder to hit, and would hit the grand prize 500 tickets just about every single time when I was like 10 years old. Older kids asking me to win them tickets, great memory. Was at a Peter Piper Pizza

Question, if the key still rises up after you stop it, then wouldn't it be possible to time the stop to make it rise up and line it with the hole?

it doesn't work that way. let's say the prize is a $900 iPad. these type of prizes will have a limit (number of losses it needs to reach before giving that prize up). it only rises up when you get it perfectly on center. if you're off, the system will just let you be off because it knows you won't win anyway.

It’s classed as entertainment like any other gambling business. Raffles and all casino games are rigged too. The house always wins. Individuals can get lucky but it’s setup so the business always has an edge.

@@stuart249 in Sweden it's illegal to sell lottery tickets without providing information about how many winning tickets there are and how many tickets are sold. Sure it's "rigged", but you know what your chances are.

This doesn’t explain it at all, like there needs to be a better explanation than that. “If it hits the bottom it’s ready to pay out.” What if you just end up actually hitting the bottom cuz you misjudged. Like wtf

You have to get the feel for it, you can for sure hit the bottom and have it still be rigged, but there’s a margin of space where hitting the bottom means it’s not rising on its own and is in skill mode for that row. That margin of space is around a quarter of an inch from the top of the key hole.
