I can confirm the 4 second method still works, just won my Overflod Autarch with it. For those who are still having trouble with this method, here is some hopefully helpful advice. When the "L to spin" notification comes up, count to four out loud using the ol' "one thousand" method to improve your timing (that is, saying "one thousand" after each counted number) and then spin the wheel. Don't flick the stick too hard, i'm not sure if that makes a difference, but it might help. Also, it may help to wait a very brief moment (a half, maybe quarter second) after the "L to Spin" notification appears before you begin counting. Again, not sure if that will have any effect, but its always good to account for human error. Speaking of which, don't forget to use the "infinite spins" method (force-quitting GTA BEFORE the wheel stops spinning) if you mess up your timing. Once more, good luck to all of you.

Nope. Tried with a stopwatch and i'm still struggling to find the sweet spot. Been moving the stick instantly and as fast as possible from 9 o'clock to 3 starting at 3.75sec ending at 4, and 4sec ending at 4.25 and i'm not getting it. I've tried at least 15 times now.

@@JDBob3 Yeah, you're doing it wrong. First, don't use a stopwatch, the delay between activating the stopwatch and spinning the wheel (or anything you do in game) can already be enough to screw everything up. Use the manual method I described instead. Second, you're moving the Thumbstick wrong. Don't do the "rotate from nine to three" method. Just flick straight down, thats what I did. Also, you're moving the stick too fast, you're more likely to succeed if you flick the stick more slowly. Good luck, and please make sure you're using the right method.

@@yoshitotem i'm actually looking for a consistent method. I'm also starting my stopwatch as soon as the spin indication shows in the corner of my screen. The correct method might be a different timing than 4 seconds but we should be able to find a persistent and accurate method after all. I'm more worried the 1 thousand method is far less accurate than a stopwatch for which i can assume a 0.1 or 0.2 second delay consistently

@@yoshitotem i've also noticed a few different outcomes depending on the speed at which i was spinning when i was using a 2-2.5sec trick from 9 to 6 o'clock. So i'm worried the speed and the trajectory are quite important but no one seems to be bothered to indicate an accurate measurement like e.i: hold 9 at 1.4sec and move from 9 to 6 in 0.5sec, from 2.0 to 2.5sec for a total of 2.5sec from the moment the notification pops up in the left corner

Unless you have a way to keep an eye on the screen and your stopwatch at the same time, there is going to be a delay when you momentarily shift from your tv screen to the stopwatch when you go to start it. That delay is still enough to throw off your count, costing you the spin, so to speak.

I tried to use the '4 second' tactic but the wheel ended up spinning real fast and I just gave up ( after many tries ) and I put my face in my pillow in sorrow, but then, as I looked up to see what I would get, the wheel slowed down. I vouch for the 4 second spin. Did the 2 second spin I found from another video and that may have worked for others but after 17 tries and long loading waits I looked for something else. So exactly and I mean exactly at 4 seconds a quick snap down and it spun all the way around and then on the second round it landed on the car. I jumped high enough to touch the clouds lol. Good vid

If your using a timer, make sure you spin a little before it runs out because there is a delay from when you hold down the left trigger to when the wheel spins. Took me like 6 spins to find the sweet spot but it works.👍

@@Mikeeskates I managed to get it the other day but while doing the 3 sec trick, the one from Frontor. I used a stopwatch. Start it as soon as the "L to spin" shows up. At 1.4sec, you want to move your Left joystick immediately to 9 o'clock and from 2.0 to ~2.8-2.9sec, you want to be moving down to 6 o'clock. So moving from 9 to 6 within 0.9sec seemed to have worked for me. And make sure to release it before 3.0sec. If the spin doesn't start, don't panic and let your character step back from the spin. Just make sure you're doing a quarter of a spin (9 to 6, left to bottom)

R* knows.Every "method" I've seen gets nerfed & I've tried them all.The wheel is based on an algorithm of what you have,how much money you have, private lobby, invite only lobby,your ranking & so on....... A good example is if you already have the prerequisite items, spinning for a weaponized vehicle, you won't get it cos you can probably already afford it or you already own it.Occasionally, you'll win,but the cause of probability just means you're more likely to sell if you win or buy shark card's to start a setup
