I'm a bit curious if people ever have issues with cities bothering them for putting up wind turbines on their house? Does this ever happen? I hope it doesn't but we live in times where people like to meddle and cause trouble when they get jealous you know... So it makes me curious to ask this?

I would just buy 2 12v Aero 403 knock offs. If your not more than 50 ft plus tower. So simple and dependable. I already miss the one I took down for a more powerful unit. I think next time I will just run two 403s

I've got that exact same DC wind generator, i took it apart years ago and dont remember what order the 4 stator wires go to on the charge controller, by chance can you show me a pic or diagram

So if you have the second type of turbine do you connect the live and neutral to any two wires of the three input wires if the regulator? And if so what do you do with the 3rd wire input wire of the regulator?

My battery bank 2 - 6v 400a batteries in series ==> 12v 400a battery bank = 4,800watts. 1. Which one of your charge controllers would you recommend? 2. Using one of your charge controllers, can I charge the battery bank while it's under load? BTW - the foreground music is fine!

Can you show an example of what type of wire to buy and look for to extend the wires from the top of a pole or house to run down to a power station where your charge controller would be? People are saying there's not enough wiring to go from the top of a house or pole down to where your charge controller and power battery bank would be and that you need to get that separate. But nobody says what kind of wire to get, what guage, etc. (people often use 10 guage for solar systems... but people are saying wind is different...)

I am confused if the wind turbine is producing AC current why would you convert it to DC current to reconvert it back to AC to use in house?

I think that it is so you can feed the power generated from the wind turbine into a charge controller which requires DC to charge your batteries.

Because the wind turbine of that size cant put out 110volts at 60hz . And it converting it down to a battery provides more constant power than if it run off the turbine thats speeding up and slowing down.

It’s AC current but not 110V. “It needs to be filtered” the simplest way to filter is to regulate

on 3 phase generator with 3 unlabeled wires ...an extension cord one end is connected to these three wires the other end of the extension cord is connected to a rectifier. . what determines how long that extension cord be ? I am thinking of having a turbine 40 fee of the ground on a tower and the battery bank a 150 feet away from the tower. How do I know what size AWG extension cord I must use

The amps and the acceptable voltage loss determines the max length. Use an online voltage drop calculator ...
