Sir u selling the stock intake and throttle body u take off the car ?
@TheHondaHub402 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the breakdown bro! Been debating if ima run this harness with my 550 or if I was just gonna keep my rywire and get a jumper harness. You did in fact still have to trim the teeth off all the trigger wheels too tho correct?
@blackphillbuilt8382 Жыл бұрын
Yes. But now it is not necessary. Fueltech has updated the triggers.

Im stuck fueltech or haltech? Whos more user friendly an which standalone offers more safety features
@blackphillbuilt838210 ай бұрын
They offer the same amount of safety features. It just depends on what you tuner wants to tune or what you feel comfortable with learning. The fueltech community is awesome when it comes to help and information. I haven’t messed with haltech yet but I will son on a customers car.

I seen a video awhile back on if you could daily drive a turbo civic. I’m thinking of daily driving mine, because I will be moving away and need to downsize to one car. It’s 1995 civic turbo b18b, pistons rods, e85. And every single suspension piece, wheel bearing etc has been replaced. I’ve had issues in the past or the car, but I’m praying if I go through the entire car it’ll be good enough to daily. I’ll also have extra small parts on stand by. is it possible to daily this ?
@blackphillbuilt8382 Жыл бұрын
It’s definitely doable. Maintenance is key and not driving like the world is ending everyday will keep the car alive.

@@blackphillbuilt8382 yes I’ll keep extra spark plugs, even clamps and random stuff on stand bye

I beat the crap out of my N/A built lsv for 2 years touching 9300rpm EVERYWHERE and EVERYDAY before the rods gave out 12:1 -82mm JE Pistons, s2tuner2 cams, crower 80lbs valve springs, supertech STD flat valves, Eagle crankshaft, with $200 scat rods

How do you wire in an alternator or are you doing 16V?
@blackphillbuilt8382 Жыл бұрын
Alternator is just a 12v switched power

Any one know how to run vtec and idle air control
@blackphillbuilt8382 Жыл бұрын
Vtec needs to be on a really triggered buy ground on a blue/ gray out put on a ft450 or power by yellow output on a ft550 up. You can idle the car by timing to save a output but I believe if you want to run the idle air vale you need a out out controlled by pwm and the 3 pin connector would be wire as if your wiring the cam/crank sensor 12v ground and one output.

I’m using the same harness on my bseries using k series coils . The k series coil only uses 3 wires is it ok to just cut the other two of
