We used this same kind today for a pump in a well down down 60 meters. Not sure how deep it is in the water. Then I watched your video and see you said 2 feet in the water. I hope our connection will keep working so we won't have to pull the pump and redo the connection.

This is a nice connector. It looks like you wouldn't even have to know which was Ground, Hot and Neutral as long as you connect the corresponding wires on each side of the connector.

They are available for 2 or 3-pin cables, the connectors include " live wire" "neutral wire" . IP68, can be immersed in water depth of not more than 2 meters (6.56 feet). Hope that helps

Very helpful. I’m having trouble with the reliability of my 12v landscape lights and I think it’s due to deterioration of the connections. I’ve even soldered some out of desperation but they’re still not waterproof. How do you think these will work with 12ga twin lead? I suppose I could always pot them with RTV for a sure seal. These wires aren’t submerged but do get wet.Thanks!

Works great with 12 volt landscape wiring. My son used my second one I had on his landscape lights wire. it's been about 12 months no issues.

Thanks for this , I had old type black box junction boxes but wanted something neater and slimmer for spiked led lights which are supplied with a very small length of wire, no where could I find what is generally used. Saw these but the lack of description in the diy shops online how it fits both ends was annoying !

I would think so. the seal is rubber and as long as it’s not damaged on inspection it should be fine.

If you have enough slack I don't see why not. Mine did not. These connectors are submersible. See description. Also, as I mentioned on your previous comment; "If you want you can also wrap the connection with "228 Moisture sealing Electrical tape". Just for extra protection".

At 0:35 the chart shows where each wire goes and clearly marked on the connector but you need to know which color is what... Ground, Neutral and Load. Colors have to correspond on each end.

But if the situation have to use those two pieces of wires of 4 core 4mm 90metre long, how to connect them safely without breaking safety rules... Like can the male/female box be used with MCB? Or is there any other ways to joint the 4 cores of two long wires by something that is waterproof , fire proof, short-circuit proof...
