Nice. I have a couple of questions. It seems that the color code sequence wouldn’t matter as long as both ends match. Is this correct? Also, can you add a link for the testing tool? Thanks!

There are very technical reasons why standards exist. And apparently 568A and 568B standards have about 3% EMI resistance difference. Which is why you will see B far more than A. I learned this after making this video actually. But generally speaking there is "crosstalk" on wires and the twisting of pairs helps cancel that out. So if you don't use either standard A or B you could still transmit at full speeds however due to crosstalk you may get significant packet loss. So sticking to the B standard is your best bet to avoid all those issues.

Here is a link to the tester I use: It is a very very simple tester. www.amazon.com/Ideal-Industries-33-856-Multimedia-Tester/dp/B00BRD77YQ/

Any advice if you're colorblind?

Testers are your friends! Get you a tester that can send signal down a single conduit. And then take note of “how twisted” the pairs are. Like in mine the green pair is way more twisted than the brown pair.
