Hoverboard controller does not have connection for throttle, insted of that controller uses gyroscopes for adjusting speed

Yes that's why he connected an ebike esc.( electric speed controller) unlike the hoverboard esc, you can connect a throttle and not have the gyros in the way.

will amadio it cannot work directly from battery power as this is brushless motors and and least u need controller wich one can simulate sensors job so it can work without these 5 vires :)

I’m making an electric longboard with the wheels and I have a few questions. I am using the hoverboard 36v battery, I order to charge it should I just connect it to the main logic board and then into the charger. Is it safe without the wheels or gyroscopes hooked up. Second question is, I’ve been looking everywhere and is it possible to connect an RC receiver instead of using an E-Bike throttle. I don’t want to use a cord while riding a skateboard/I would have to use two throttles because of both the controllers since I’m doing a dual wheel setup.

Rohan Sharma I have been trying to do the same thing. I read online that the e bike throttle plus wire is 5v and that the receiver can handle 6 volts. So it should be ok, but correct me if I am wrong. Mrcop said in a comment down below that you can charge the battery with the original charger if you cut of the original charger plug (or put it directly on to the battery wires).

Ozule if ur controller is smart and have option to work without hall sensor wires so u don’t need, but keep in mind if u have speedometer that comes with controller without hall sensor wires it wont show speed, milage etc.

No. Too much power consuption. Use one driver for either Motor and one throttle for both. Search dual controller one throttle. White cable signal is common to the 2 controllers battery goes in parallel to the two controller and red and black of throttle only from one controller

The wheel needs to know what speed it's going at in order to adjust its torque, otherwise it's just going to keep increasing its speed even if you hold the handle steady. Does it do that?

hey MrCop you had any luck with brakes. my controller says yellow wire to ground. but when I do this just turns the throttle off. I'm guessing there is an electronic braking mechanism built in to e bike controllers I might be wrong. any ideas ?

I got a similar question. When normally driving a hoverboard, you can brake down pretty well. Is this an actual braking mechanism or is this basically "reverting" the motor direction with full speed? ☠️ I've been experiencing extremely dangerous episodes of the motor not stopping as soon as I turn the throttle , related to high humidity conditions ! I think it's because the humidity increases conductivity of the hall sensors in the throttle . can you recommend a good throttle ? I think the manufacturers are going to have to make them water proof. I experienced the same issue with a different throttle , battery and controller. just using the bike after a rain storm is enough to cause the issue. We must have a throttle will a switch to cut power ! ☠️ Also stop using hot glue on the Hall sensors ! It melts were I live ! And make the throttle not Fall apart so easy , and they need to be made with softer grips or made to accept normal grip's.
