How to Wire Hydraulics in a Lowrider

In this video im going over to wire the hydros in the trunk of the lowriders. Hopefully i made it simple to understand. Remember you can come up with your own color code.

why 2 batteries to the rear and 8 to the front? I understand motor weight, but how many is sufficient? How do you determine how many batteries go to the front versus how many go to the rear?

Im thinking of running the 6 battery n 3 pump for my 60. According to the first set up style u drew out the left pump and center would be the rear pumps correct ? And the right one is the nose pump?

will a 12 volt battery out of a smoke alarm melt a ring onto your finger? ever seen a car batter melt a ring onto someones finger? you see there what happens when the current of a 12v battery is increased? imagine multiplying that metal melting current times another 8... "one big 12v battery that wont ruin or break anything" is a foolish and dangerous statement.

You should stick to one topic my boy some of us are newbies like do one video for 2 pump 6 battery set up only cause I’m confused now do I run 6 solenoids for this set up or 5 because you jumped around and said well let’s do just one ! I appreciate it what you doing but you can’t make a starter video and jump around to different set ups it confuses people

Rule of thumb is a solenoid for every 2 batts so if you run 6 batts to the nose you need 3 solenoids for the front then if you run 4 batts to the rear you only need 2 solenoids

@@artursawicki4402 for lowriders we want voltage for more bounce by going negative to positive up to 10 batteries. Going negative to negative and Positive to Positive all you doing is gaining amps and staying at 12v no matter how many batteries are wired together.

Yep hooked up the way in the video, only difference is six and two pumps. Three batteries on the right side of the trunk and three batteries on the left side.

I have 8 batteries inline. But only in 2 series, so 48 volts off each bank. 3 pumps total. 2 pumps to the rear and 1 to the front. 4 solenoids to the rears, and 3 to the front. My question is why are guys running up to 96 volts if running multiple pumps? Wouldn't that just burn pumps up faster? My set up has a fast response. But am I missing out only having 1 bank.

So on the three pump suz batteries I can run a wire from bank to bank. But do I have to switch around the solenoids so the positive wire is at the last dump or can I run it on the first solenoid?

On the second battery from the ground disconnect which will be 24v on the positive post.

It's best to put weight in the corners, by saying that try to design a rack where most of the weight are in the corners. That's 1 thing that can help 3 wheel.

If you dont hear a small click at the dump then it's not getting power or the candle is bad. Make sure the ground is good.
