Interesting update, made a note of it. I was wondering looking at the template provided by Walthers what the 'cut out' diameter is. I understand there is a slightly larger 'mounting/base' diameter for attaching, covering with the trim piece etc. Everything I have looked at on both the Walthers site and other sites are giving me two distinctly different cut out measurements for the HO 130' TT. I'm trying to create template as finalize the placement of things in yard and last thing I want is to cut template too small or worse, too large. Thanks.

do you need the auto reverse ? I have the 90' turntable and read that the "dead zone" is because of the built in auto reverse

@@PatrickTierney-k1x I did on this one because it would short out the whole layout. Even with the dead zones it did it. As soon as I put the auto reverser on it worked great.

@@HO_Americana Sorry I don't understand why you'd need an auto reverser Walthers state that the turntable "automatically reverses track polarity when turned" I assume this only works for DC?

@@lms_steve6693 maybe when turned, but when I moved my trains from the main track onto the turntable it shorted out the whole layout. Now when I moved them off the turntable table into the roundhouse stall it worked fine. So mine needed the auto reverser.

@@HO_Americana Yep same here I've discovered. Picked up an auto reverser from a swap meet this week £10! bargain and it works just great.
