Your set up is somewhat similar to the DIY train model folks. Here in the US I found 6 bulb strings running LED bulbs on Amazon - so one string lights 6 houses. I run my regular houses/bldgs that have a single light with these LED soft white bulbs. For my facades, action accesories and mini (clear and multi) light strings that run on either battery or adapter, I merely buy a 4.5V adapter with 3 octopus plug leads to light those. On the larger action accessories that draw more power I simply use their own adapter that came with the piece. But that's only a couple like that for me. At any rate I've reduced my wires and plugs for a very large village to two Heavy duty tool surge protected power strips. The key is counting up your power inputs to run the village items to make sure you are not exceeding the adapter's rating other wise dim lights or poorly running accessories.

Great idea. I just bought a whole set of these Lemax buildings with the old incandescent bulbs. Planning to use your method to upgrade to LED. Found all the items needed on Amazon.
