hello and thank you Mindset for a very informative video. Though I myself do not want to cash out my coins to my bank account, is there a way you can transfer the ETH coins to bit coins and then to a paper wallet? I would like to save them for my retirement, I am not looking to use them now, but to save them for years to come. Can you do a video on that for those of us who wish to transfer out of minergate -----> to bitcoin, then to ----> a paper wallet or cold storage?

Hey mate! Yeah!! This is a pretty serious problem.. here's my theory.. I've noticed the people who haven't been able to confirm their coins usually have very low hashrates. Now, your hashrate plays a role in how quickly your balance is confirmed. Therefore, it's taking a long time because they have low hashrates. But I've heard it's taking some people over a week to confirm which seems odd even with a low hashrate.. I'm not sure how long the miner has been on in that week (you have to have your miner on for it to confirm) but from my personal experience my balance was being confirmed every 5ish minutes.. but I did have a 300+ hashrate.. Hope that clears things up a bit :P

It just takes time for the currency to be confirmed, I had no idea about currencies being unconfirmed by minergate until just now tbh.

I have no idea where or when but generally around 12 something UTC is when currencies are suppose to be confirmed, I'm EST myself and woke up around 2 ish this morning to see that my dash we're already confirmed\

Yep, my XDN are confirmed when reached 1.0. I stopped using it though because my hashrate is too low it's not worth it. Had the following answer from Minergate support about the thresholds for confirmation: BCN - 20 XMR - 0.005 FCN - 1 QCN - 1 MCN - 1 XDN - 1 AEON - 0.005 DSH - 1 INF8 - 10 ETC/ETH - 0.000001 ZEC - 0.001

Yeah you should be able to withdraw your Monero to that wallet, however, because I don't know you're specific wallet I can't say whether you can transfer it to Paypal or not :-)

That's suer nice of you to say dude, it makes me so happy to know that I inspired you in some way and take action for yourself :-) - I just checked out your stuff, it's really good!!! I had a ton of fun reading it :D You've got to remember, Steemit isn't as popular (yet) as other social media platforms so you probably won't get as many views as you will one day, however, it's important to just keep pushing and keep making content and one day it will just happen for you :-) So I'd suggest either expanding to other platforms too where there's more people (if you're wanting to focus on your writing you should check out medium.com) which will get you more readers/viewers in a shorter period of time (you'll still have to be patient remember :-) ... you can never get out of doing that ;-) ), or patient with steemit :-) It's also important to mention, just like when you invest your money into a currency and ride the upward trend to make your money, the same thing can be applied to social media platforms. If you become big on a social media platform while its small, you can ride the trend up as it gets more popular and become massive :-) I'll end this message with a quote from Gary Vee, "Micro Hustle and Macro Patience" - Essentially, every day keep hustling and producing content even if it only gets you 10 or even 1 view a post. But be patient on a macro level as it will eventually happen for you if you're good enough :-)

Hi Wilcox, it's an automatic process, you don't have to do it yourself, the exchange does it for you. Otherwise you'd never be able to sell your currency because there isn't enough demand for dashcoin :-) Hope this helps!

Yeah I can see where you're coming from dude :-) but here's how it works: Person A wants to sell 0.3 DASH at $130 One of 4 things will occur: 1) Person B will want 0.3 DASH and is willing to pay $130 USD for it. 2) Person B will want 0.1 DASH and is willing to pay $43.33 USD for it, however the exchange will also pair you with person C who is willing to pay $86.66 USD for the other 0.2 DASH (or a variant of this example, it could even be 100000 people all buying a piece of your overall 0.3 DASH) 3) There are no people wanting to buy DASH in the market, however there are a lot of people wanting to buy Bitcoin, therefore the exchange will place an order which basically states that you buy Bitcoin with your DASH for x amount and when there is a buyer that will give you $130 USD for the amount of Bitcoin you have bought with your DASH then it will sell to the person for that $130 USD (the exchange might not even go through Bitcoin, it could go through Bytecoin, or Monero, or anything! Or even go through more than one currency) 4) It is completely different to anything said above and actually makes 10000 transactions over multiple different currencies to finally get to you at the rate which you want to sell your DASH for, i.e. $130 USD. The important thing isn't needing to know how it all works, the important thing to know is that if you sell your DASH for $130 USD you're going to get $130 USD for the DASH :-) - So you don't need to worry about it I've also made a video which might clear things up a little more: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6rFZKR8a76Crqc Hope this helps!

Hey Fresh Soup! - Not a stupid question at all :-) So if you're trying to transfer bitcoins that you've mined into a wallet (I'm assuming you're using HitBTC) just do the same process as I did in this video, just with Bitcoins Otherwise, HitBTC automatically translates whatever currency you have into Bitcoin as you can see on the top right of the screen where it shows how much you have in USD and BTC.. Hope this helps :-)
