Thank you for this. I am going to do a pattern that combines these techniques, and I'm so glad for this video. I have tried tapestry crochet, but I always see the other color coming through, so not sure what I'm doing wrong. I do knit fair isle and I thought this wouldn't be too difficult to master, but ugh!

@@daisyknots I make appliques etc with no pattern, i can follow almost any pattern but with mosaic charts i have a knot in my brain or something. A crochet beginner friend can do it. I can't. How silly is that ;)

@@maybebuffalo6049 have you tried to write the charts out. eg row 3 of the sample in this tutorial would be written as: FBS, tr fl2d (treble into front loop two down), 10 dc blo (double crochet back loop only), tr fl2d, LBS
