My family hired White Collar Advice for my dad. Justin not only helped us throughout the whole ordeal (my dad has been home a year now), but he found us a lawyer, Diane Bass in OC. They made a great team. When we would ask Diane questions, she would often say, "That's Justin's team, not me." She was humble and so honest. My dad got a year and a day when the ausa asked for 37 months. We are thankful for WCA and Diane.

In my experience, if one doesn't advocate for themselves, no one ever will. What you're describing is a beautiful and pragmatic point. Ultimately, in our lives, we must be the captains of the ship, even if we are a crewmember on another captain's ship. If the captain is awful, get a better captain.
