**CHECK OUT PART 2! • How to Work With Styre...
Episode 1 of a 2 part series on How To Work With Styrene! This will cover some of the basics, as well as some helpful techniques. Styrene plastic, is a durable, flexible material that is very easy to use with only minimal tools and basic knowledge. It can be heat-formed, vacuum-formed, chemically bonded (glue), and cut with only a sharp knife...
Or dental floss! www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ozlo...
It is a favorite among model train enthusiasts, but has been a huge hit in the Radio Controlled world for constructing scale accessories or even entire bodies for RC cars and trucks.
/ rcculture ... RC Culture has asked me to build the body for one of his models ... Project Expedition! This is really an amazing vehicle, and although not a lot has been published about it yet, the plans he has in the works are EPIC ... you really REALLY need to check it out, and SUBSCRIBE to RC Culture so you won't miss any future updates or builds!
The next video will show more about how to make curves and bends with sytrene... much more complex than just flat pieces, but necessary to do in order to bring your build to that next level!
It will also let you know exactly what kind of vehicle Project Expedition is going to be!
In the meanwhile, do you think YOU know what it is?
Stay tuned for more updates on this, and other projects that MrRcFanatik/Fanatik Motorsports has going on, and SUBSCRIBE so you don't miss anything!

Subbed! That was really well done and a great edit with good music! I learned a lot watching this, you really explained it well. I just cut my new Gellande Cruiser body kit in two for a truck cab. My first hardbody and styrene endeavor. Do you recall what was used for the rivet heads on the tail light assemblies? That is a nice scale detail there. Thanks again for the lesson and content!

It was... It is.. well it will be for sure ;) Your project really sparked my interest. The 130 hi-cap is a favorite of mine. I use to work at a custom Land Rover shop here in Maine, USA and we got to build some really cool trucks. We did 110 hi-cap but I never had the pleasure of doing a 130. You really captured the spirit of the vehicle in your build. keep up the good work!!

Never tried vacuum forming styrene personally, but I don't see why not. Yes a dremel is commonly used, but a bit messy! I like the diamond tipped wheels best as they don't shatter like the normal cheapo disks.
