Could you explain how you came to the conclusion that four 45-degree bends make two 90-degree bends? I cannot see what the Wiring Regs define as a bend.

These chaps are lucky to have you! How does putting a through box in changes things in reality? Is the intention that the cables only get pulled through half as much conduit and so have an easier ride? The last half the cable will still have been pulled through both runs of tube, but I guess the friction/stretch would be less

The box halves the length of the pull as well as the pull is now only around one bend... then your theory is correct 👍. Thanks for the support and watching. Gaz

Honestly what a great video. The teachers at my training centre dont even compare to this. If you were pulling twin and earth into conduit, how would you work out the conduit size. Eg. 2.5 t&e, would that be counted as two 2.5mm solid conductors and one 1.5mm? Or am I completely off the mark? Thanks
