Yes do be generous after the leaver as its pulled so tight the cushion gets reduced a lot and a lot of tapes crack and wear quickly on top of the bend.. Aero bars are not as fun or beautiful as round ones to wrap.. Leading edge tight to the bar is a good tip... Thanks..

Thanks for showing in details. I have 2 questions... 1) Why not wrap in opposite direction (center to end) to avoid use electrical tape? 2) Is there any other option to be use instead electrical tape? (Yeah, I don't like the electrical tape that everyone uses in the handlebar 🙂)

You can do that. You need a tape that is strong and has a moderate stretch and not too bulky.

Great tutorial video Boss. Kinda have a problem with my aero dropbar Boss. I purchased a leather bar tape with no back adhesive. Having a hard time putting it. It's very slippery. 😅 Any tips Boss?

Spray adhesive works. Light dust on the bars, don’t touch it.

I thought Cinelli bar tape was the type of tape that specified it shouldn’t be stretched when wrapped?

@@Mapdec Yes I agree. I liked your method the best. The lining up of the figure 8 around the clamp of the lever to centre of the bar is something I have never seen on any KZbin bar wrap video. Have you ever seen the video by Hoton for his semi-reverse wrap, it’s different for sure.

@@Mapdec Wrong for anyone who finds electrical tape aesthetically displeasing +/ doesn't like dealing with tape eventually coming undone. Bar tape is designed to go the opposite direction.
