In this video I will show you how to wrap an iPhone as a gift to present to anyone on any occasion. This technique can be applied to an gift wrapping project. This is a great way to wrap any gift and with a little practice, insure that you will be able to wrap a perfect gift every time! Full version in the link above but this video will show you how to quickly giftwrap and iPhone for any occasion. Take your time and enjoy!
The first step is to choose the wrapping paper and cut it to a length where the edges don't extend too far over the sides of the package. The goal is to get the wrapping paper as close to the edges as possible, so that when it's wrapped around the package, it will fold over neatly.
The tutorial recommends using clear tape rather than the cloudy, standard Scotch tape, as it will create a more seamless appearance. When taping the wrapping paper, use as little tape as possible.
To begin wrapping the package, center the iPhone on the wrapping paper, and wrap it around the phone to get a little leverage. Once you've wrapped it around, fold the edge over and make a straight fold, so that it's straight and gives a clean edge. You should only need one piece of tape to hold it in place.
Next, fold the sides down evenly and crease the paper so that it stays in place. You can run your finger along the edge to create a perfect crease. Fold the edges in, and again, make sure to use as little tape as possible. Repeat the process on the other side.
Finally, create a straight fold at the top and tape it down. It may take some practice to get it right, but with patience and attention to detail, anyone can gift wrap like a pro!
