Mind blowing! I can't believe how lucky I feel to have found you and your wrist free offerings. This is a great alternative to traditional sun salutations...I found a much deeper mind-muscle connection. I will incorporate this into my practice even after I have my cast removed. I can't thank you enough 🙏

James is the only yoga teacher making TRULY wrist and hands-free flows. It's like he really has you in mind the whole time. It's so disappointing when I try a "wrist-free" video only to discover that what they really meant is no chatturanga but wrists and arms are actually required. Thank you James for such helpful modifications.

James, I am beyond grateful for your hands free practices. I’m recovering from a shoulder injury and was absolutely shattered that I couldn’t continue my yoga practice and achieve a full recovery. Your videos have been an absolute godsend for my life, well being and recovery. Please keep them coming, this niche area has huge potential to be life changing for those wanting to continue their practice despite injury. I look forward to substituting this flow for traditional sun salutations in alternate classes 🙌🏻🙏🏻

I usually hardly comment anywhere, but for you I make an exception. I broke my ellbow and even without plaster coat, I'm not allowed to do planks for a few days months. You provided me with a way out. Thank you so much.

James. Bayybbbyyyyyyyy! This changed my yoga game. The most comprehensive and easy to follow tutorial for alternatives to a complete flow. This 👏🏾 is 👏🏾 a 👏🏾 work 👏🏾 out. I am a massage therapist and building my own business over the last year... I was over motivated this summer and did work sometimes 7 days a week... too many hours. Now my old wrist and elbow injuries are telling me WTF. did start of this early friday morning with this 15 minute class plus 5 min meditation. Thanks for the playlist and videos... I have lots of catch up time to do. Thank you James! =)

Amazing!! You're an angel sent!! after I got a ganglion cyst on my wrist it prevented me from doing anything ESPECIALLY yoga. I had just started my 300hr YTT and when I found out I had to stop I fell into a depression and this video is the answer to my prayers🙏🏾🙏🏾. Thank you so much for relighting my fire🤍

James, you’ve brought an absolute light into my life! I broke my arm 6 months ago and still recovering, I now have a plate fitted but this is relatively new so the break is still there and I’m months from a full downward dog. This is fantastic. Recently broke my wrist. This is the most intelligent and engaging instructor for an adapted practice. Particularly appreciate the reminder to maintain the neural pathway even if the mind can start an unhelpful chatter that the exercise is pointless Thank you so much.

Wow. I only started Yoga earlier this year and having had weekly classes for a bit have decided to try and practice daily with sun salutations. Unfortunately a broken hand 3 years ago appears to now be giving me issues in my wrist and hand so I'm so grateful to see this hands free version. Can't wait to try it. Thank you!

This is so helpful! I’m recovering from a wrist break and surgery. I want to go back to an in person class, but didn’t know how to modify! I agree that this worked up my heat…and I wasn’t even teaching at the same time! Thank you for your calm and insightful knowledge.❤

James this is wonderful! I've had issues with my right wrist for years which has led to a very stop-start relationship with yoga as it unfortunately tends to aggravate my injury whenever I practice too regularly. It's been really frustrating to have to take a step back every time I start to establish a more regular practice, but now I have a way of practising multiple times a week without straining my wrist. Thank you so much!

Sorry to message again, , but I’m focusing on Ahimsa at the moment and this really encourages us to stop hurting ourselves (too many planks etc.) and do something different. Thank you. Golfers elbow has blighted my practice and your videos are an inspiration.

Wow, this video is super helpful! I appreciate the demonstration of the practice in addition to the very clear explanations. I've got a hand injury and--having done my YTT--thought that the only solution was forearm plank and dolphin during the necessary parts of sun salutation, but early on in my injury even that was putting at least some weight on my hand and thus ultimately a no-no. The alternatives here are great and I feel confident that I could pass this on to other students as well. Thanks, James!

Just want to send a SHOUT OUT to you for not only your Incredible Videos but for " reigniting" my yoga ( or anything for that matter 😎) practice!! I sort of Lost My Way a year ago and completely lost my interest in working out , which was so unbelievable, as working out in one form or another was a Vital part of my Everyday for the last 30 + years. (And, this past November, I met up with a rather harsh Physics Scenario and broke 3 fingers.) No Good !! I was suddenly inspired by a nighttime Dream to check out the possibility that might be a Hands Free option and stumbled upon your videos !! As of today, I am 6 days in a Row with you !!! I appreciate your Style and love how you incorporate various Eastern Modalities ( none of which I am super familiar with, but it makes me feel like The Cool Kid when I'm doing them !) This is the LONGEST comment I've ever written, my apologies and also my Deepest Thanx !!!

thanks so much for the tutorial. been doing yoga for many years and no-one told me about air chaturanga. particularly informative as most of my yoga routines are the vinyasa format which after a particularly power routine does leave my shoulders and wrists sore . will definitely use to alternate routines

Brilliant!!! This is what I needed all along, i have a shoulder injury and was continuously coming across wrist for yoga with doing plank pose on forearms which I can't do and halfway through the video I have to go look for another one. Thanks so much! I'm going to definitely use it!!!

Air Chaturanga is my new favorite yoga exercise to the start my day. I currently have a Frozen shoulder and as you said, I did my sun salutation really well before the injury and now I can’t practice it the way I want to...til today. You broadened my horizons. Luckily I came across your YT channel by chance and I’m very happy about that you are offering these great alternatives. Thank you so much for your detailed explanations and the effort you put in. Great options - thanks! I presume you step back with a different leg each time if you have several vinyasas in a row. Since it may be hard to remember which leg you used, is it possible to be on your knees in the chaturanga (like an ushtrasana prep)?

Yes, exactly! Keep changing sides each time you flow through for balance. And yep! That sounds like a good idea to also come onto both knees each time You'll get maybe a bit more stabilisation going through the core too that way. I like the idea!
