How to write 80's Horror music in 1 minute by Desmond Doom Came up with this last minute and thought it'd be good to jump on the Halloween bandwagon. Enjoy! Love to John Carpenter!

Fun fact: We don't do Halloween in Australia because kangaroos come out at sundown and steal our children. Favourite 80s Horror movie, go! Mine is "Brazil" (Gilliam is a madlad)

The 80's were blessed with so many horror classics. The 1st 'Elm St.' was my first horror obsession. Later came Evil Dead and Return Of The Living Dead (with a great big helping ng of comedy in the gruesome story) and Braindead (same deal). Also I loved The Gate and Phantasm III (the first was the best but is not from the eighties)

Totally forgot about the first two Hellraiser movies and The Shining. Damn there are so many

Return of the Living Dead is my all time favorite. Came out in '85, the year I was born, and was the first horror movie I remember feeling true horror after it was revealed that those zombies could not be killed, and the fate of humanity was sealed.

Desmond, your the only guy who creates such a huge sound, out of the tiny-ist instruments..... !!!! It make you look like a giant ― It's Desmond-wave, It's the genre you never intended to make, that has blossomed for-thwarts.....

My spouse and I saw The Thing for the first time on the screen last week for a sold out pre-Halloween showing. That film has the best horror soundtrack and nothing (during Spooky Season or other seasons in the year) can scare me as much as that film did and the score was a huge reason for that!

A title most of you will not know: "Przyjaciel wesołego diabła" ("A friend of a merry devil"), a 1985 Polish film rated "all audiences". Eerie filters, creepy forests and caves, and the title character - a devil strolling around with a man-size fork... Seeing it at the cinema was a most traumatic experience of many Polish children. I am 40+ now and still would not like to see it for the second time 😣

Best horror movie soundtrack is original 1974 Texas chainsaw massacre soundtrack. 80's was periode when horror movies where also comedy films and more scaryer than 21 century horror films what are trying to be taken seriously but are rather comedic and funny.
