Spent my teen years with OK Computer on loop. Not going to lie - this tune is banging.

Post-punk bassist I really like who doesn't get mentioned much is Will Heggie, Cocteau Twins first bassist. I love the basslines on Garlands, and he also did some great work with his next band, Lowlife

Cooked again! :) "High And Dry" (a song that the band is embarrassed by) is one that has been good to me with time. It's the kindest and warmest song in their towering discography, with a deep-felt lyric to a self-destructive friend (who is, I think, a professional stunt performer), a classic 90's climax, and a satisfying almost-healing resolution. Quite a bit out of character for the band. I haven't really listened to Radiohead in a few years. But that song is the one I now remember most fondly.

The Daily Mail by Radiohead is pretty great. And this sounds more like Muse than Radiohead, which is admittedly a band also trying to copy Radiohead's sound. All that said, nice work on this song. 👍
