BTW Peter and the boys was just as influenced by Marc Bolan (T-Rex) and Lee Scratch Perry (Amazing Jamacian Reggae\Dub Producer 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990,s 2000s, inventer of Dub Music and producer of Bob Marley) if you listen to the pioneering overdubs on songs like Rainy Night in Portland by Watty Burnett(1977)You can hear the influence on songs like Bela Lagpsoi's Dead. Listen to them side by side and you will understand.
