That means melodic interval. +2 = ascending second, -2 = descending second, etc. The rules are all possible movements of the dux so that there is consonance with comes.

@@joa.barrera vas encadenando intervalos (equilibrando ascensos y descensos) y el comes siempre es consonante. El tratado de Cherubini de contrapunto y fuga es bastante completo.
