Indeed. And something to keep in mind is you want your mission statement to be different to theres. The key to standing out in any market is to be different. But you can look at some of the leading brands mission statements and competitors for inspiration, sure. Our website has more detail on this.

Lovely video content and some great general comments... the problem is they have confused the function of a mission statement with a that of a positioning statement... perhaps trying to do too much in one sentence? A mission statement is an INTERNAL document that, combines with other components of strategic planning, setting the strategic guidelines for the organisation. While positioning and branding, statements are the operational REFLECTION of the strategy not the DRIVING foundation of the strategy. Those who want to know more should search out the "The Hierarchies of Marketing" model.
