Keep it simple, and if you're unsure where to start, write the method section first because that's just a factual account of what you did, and is usually the easiest part to start with if you're unsure of what to write

Very informative! I'm tasked to do a research report regarding infinity and infinitesimals? Is this one of those papers nonexperimentsl one? I just don't understand what I'd place on the method part.

Thanks for your question :) with the method on a theoretical paper, you're still "doing" something, but the method section may be smaller as the other sections take centre stage. Are you using any specific models or software to complete the research? If you are, then this is important information to share with the reader. If it's entirely a thought experiment, then perhaps use a different structure of report more geared towards abstract maths or philosophy.

Hey I find it really helpful but in my research report before the references there's this conclusion after the discussion what should I put in there

Glad you found the video helpful. Some people put discussion and conclusion together whilst others separate them out. If you separate them, your discussion is to speak about the relevance of your results (what do they mean, etc) and the conclusion is a shorter section providing a tidy summary of the report with a suggestion of what is next : X was discovered under Y experimental conditions. I argue that this means Z. These findings are relevant to these settings: 1,2,3. Further research into A will be required to answer a further question of B.

My college has asked that I write a brief report about some films and series to deepen my understanding of the behaviouristic side of psychology before I begin the course in September. Any tips as I won't be using any equipment other than a screen with a pen and paper??

It sounds like they might be looking for more of an essay type report than an experimental write-up... So perhaps, when you're watching the films, see if you can spot any themes and then you can structure your report around the themes that you notice. This is acta research method called thematic analysis and is very popular! If you're writing around 1000 words, you might want to find three themes and then write some paragraphs about the examples you noticed in the films :)
