I’m on the process of drafting mine. The field/program indicated on my acceptance letter is BACHELOR OF SCIENCE. According to the school, students decide their choice of major after the first year,My intended major is Chemistry but it’s not written on acceptance letter; BACHELOR OF SCIENCE is written there. Question: I indicate BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CHEMISTRY and not BACHELOR OF SCIENCE in my letter of explanation, how will this impact my study permit application?

If they are all relevant then you can leave it. But make sure the cogent points are introduced immediately. Limit unnecessary pleasantries and “thank you’s”

Thanks If you can easily explain that in 8 lines (1 paragraph) then shoot for it. If not you can just mention the need of international exposure and maybe strike if you went to a federal uni Summary: don’t let the incident take a chunk of the essay space
