There is just one big problem with paperpal: It only works in English, there are no other languages... This is pretty sad. It can perfectly translate to English from any language. But all the cool skills like improving language, finding synonyms etc. are not available in any other language than English.

I remember writing a paper completely on my own only using AI for the literature review and very briefly for the outline and paper still came back with some AI detected. For me, the more technical I write, the more it thinks I sound robotic..
